The room was very clean, the front desk service was very enthusiastic, there was a welcome ceremony, the housekeeper introduction was also very detailed, the food was very delicious, everyone came to say goodbye when I checked out, thank you very much and look forward to the next time

Resort is at a good location at a distance from the city so it’s quiet and peaceful. But the ants and insects are everywhere. So not very pleasant. They should really do something about repelling insects. At least in the rooms. Resort is very stingy when it comes to asking for extra bottles or water or glasses etc. Indian Kitchen is good but the other one not so much. Breakfast is below average, very limited options and only one serving of main course (small portions). Pools are nice and scenic for photos. Resort is very beautiful for clicking pictures. Overall 2.5/5 for this stay. P.S - Picture is of some leftover food that stayed for at least 2 days in the lobby to our room.

Bernie and I stayed at Akah Cottages for just under a week and were pleasantly surprised by the high level of hospitality and customer service provided by the owner and her staff. The rooms were beautifully maintained and demonstrated a love for the property itself. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and the home-cooked meals were authentic and delicious. After staying at supposed '5-star' accommodation back in Bali, these ritzy hotels didn't come close to Akah in terms of true attention to detail, care and customer service. Our host was lovely and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks for taking such good care of us! Olivia & Bernie

The perfect escape one can dive into to detox from the hustle and bustle of city life! The owners were amazingly helpful especially in attending to my every need. They were a great help in sharing the various places of interest available for me to venture to. Their warm welcome was quite the highlight of my time spent on Nusa Lembongan. The villa itself was well kept and very strategically located. It us quite literally a stone's throw away from Dream Beach! And I have the option of taking a dip in the pool should the sea appear too daunting for a swim. Definitely going back soon!

This was the most expensive stay we booked for our months travel through Bali and the islands.I was so looking forward to the one night that we had booked there at $300 a night.We were early so waited in the restaurant area for 1.5 hours and had some lunch until the room was ready.The restaurant looks run down too and in desperate need of a repaint with stains and it just looked old and this place isnt that old.Staff were good.Beautiful views of Blue Lagoon and the food was OK.Into our room which was a Seaview cottage but you dont have a sea view at all.I stood on our couch on tippy toes and could just make out the sea in the background.The unit is fenced for privacy but you have no views at all except for bamboo fencing.You have a private pool which was cold and so over chlorinated that I had to shower after being in the pool because you stunk of chlorine.Room was nice but small and the bathroom was pretty too but the shells hanging around the shower were missing shells and had seen better days.Better to remove them than to have the broken strands hanging there,BEER....Big problem getting a cold beer.There must be no rotation of the beers being put into the fridge and 4 times we had to return beers that were hot(husband not happy about that).No breakfast for $300 a night and had to be purchased but was nice.I would not book here again but would recommend coming for lunch or dinner to soak up the view.That never got old and you could see turtles floating around in the bay.Underwhelming would be how I describe the Villas.Mini Mart up the road for supplies if you need them and cold beer

From start to finish, this hotel was amazing, we spent 6 days here in Ubud and did lots of activities. Every single member of staff is a credit to this hotel. So helpful and nothing was to much trouble, communication was brilliant at all times, especially waiter ADI. Made our stay that extra special. Always went out his way to make our day. Telling us of great places to go and visit. The rooms are fabulous and always clean. Restaurant was great. Food exceptional. Loved the Easter night special. About 15 mins away from ubud town we called it ( market etc ) but free shuttle service was brilliant. We have been all over the world., and this is up there with the best of them. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful with lovely little details. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch. A la carte breakfast was delicious. Staff were so helpful at all times, nothing was too much. Pool facilities lovely. Overall a very relaxing and calming hotel but still in the middle of Ubud. Would definitely stay again!

We celebrated our anniversary and the hotel arrangements were well thought out, very attentive to detail. All the staff are helpful, humble and polite. We strongly recommend this hotel.

Visited Amandari in March 2024 with my husband and had the most splendid stay. The hotel and the rooms are absolutely stunning and I love the small touches throughout the room and property. The food was great and each meal was better than the last. I absolutely loved the signature Aman cocktails they had to offer. Love the shuttle service from the hotel to the Ubud market, makes it really convenient to step out. The location of the property is really stunning with the view of the valley and convenience to Ubud market, other sightseeing spots. We took the tours to Bali bird and reptile park, some temples and waterfalls, etc. through Aman and were extremely happy with the guides. Mega who was our guide was so sweet and informative and really went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing experience. Also definitely recommend the spa, one of the best massages I have had. Siwi was my therapist and was amazing! Michel (GM) is so delightful to meet and always a pleasure to talk to! All the staff were so sweet and helpful and would go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, including at the reception when it came to organising our tours or the restaurants to cater to our food requirements. Will most definitely be back!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at The Samaya Ubud. We spent 3 nights at the Ayung Villa and did not want to leave! The villa is very spacious, clean and well maintained – with just the right balance between modern and Balinese style decor. The bathroom is huge and equipped with a private jaccuzi. There is also a 1.8m-deep private swimming pool that is quite large. The hotel consists of a number of villas and they are a fair distance away from the reception area, but a buggy service is provided to transport guests back and forth from their villas. The Samaya Ubud has a beautiful scenery and is centrally located, it is only about 15-minute drive away from local attractions such as the Ubud Monkey Forest and Saraswati Temple. A free shuttle service from the hotel to Ubud Central is provided. The service was impeccable, every single one of the staff that we met during our stay was extremely friendly and helpful. We had informed the hotel that we were visiting Bali to celebrate my birthday / our honeymoon, and they provided us with complimentary wine, decorated our room with flowers, and even surprised me with a cake on my birthday (right after we checked out & just before we left!) We felt very well looked-after throughout our stay here and we could tell that they truly served from the heart. One of the highlights of our stay was the romantic candlelit dinner at the Swept Away restaurant overlooking the Ayung River. The 7-course dinner was delicious, and the staff were very attentive throughout the dinner. We couldn’t finish everything and they helped to pack the remaining food and delivered them to our room. The dinner set up was very beautiful – the staff went above and beyond with the set up, placing 100 candles around the dining area, even at the riverbank! They also kindly helped us take many photos and videos to capture this unforgettable moment. We really loved our stay at The Samaya Ubud, and we are hoping to go back there one day.
