J’y reviendrais volontiers.
My recent stay at Munduk Menir Villa was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking views that greeted me. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the panorama from the swimming pool was a feast for the eyes, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The sunsets were particularly mesmerizing, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink that reflected beautifully on the surrounding landscape.
What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the unparalleled hospitality of the staff. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, every staff member went above and beyond to ensure I felt at home. Their genuine friendliness and willingness to assist with any request made my experience truly special. Whether it was recommending local attractions or ensuring my room was perfectly prepared, their dedication was evident in every interaction.
Nice hotel (even if it was a little bit confusing to find). The sauna was a very nice little extra.
There’s a lot of choice for breakfast. There’s a possibility to eat lunch and dinner on site which that is very convenient specially when it rains.
The staff is also very kind.
For a relaxing, romantic stay in Bali away from the tourist hot spots, the Sanak Retreat is the ideal place to stay. It is really exceptionally nice located in the middle of the rice terraces and the few bungalows blend harmoniously into the landscape. We felt right at home. The food is ok and not too expensive. The location invites to hiking and biking. The only downside to our stay was that we were there at the time of the rice harvest and the farmers in the immediate vicinity of the hotel burned the rice palm after the harvest. This has unfortunately stunk terrible and fouled entire stretches of land for days. Those who are sensitive to bad air should try to avoid the time of the rice harvest.
We're still basking in the warmth of our exceptional experience at Munduk Tentrem, even a week after leaving Bali. This intimate resort, with only 8 rooms, truly shines with its attentive and enthusiastic staff.
Every visit to the One Eighty Panorama restaurant was met with a warm welcome from the eagle-eyed team, particularly Ari and Nana, who always greeted us with bright smiles and engaging conversations, making our meals feel like home.
But what truly stole our hearts was the breathtaking mountain vista. We witnessed the mesmerizing dance of mist, clouds, and sunshine, with the weather changing dramatically before our eyes. One moment, clear skies; the next, cloudy; then misty, drizzly, and sunny again – all in a single day!
Munduk Tentrem's harmonious blend of pleasant staff, stunning views, and delightfully cool weather makes it the perfect haven to unwind. Our stay at Munduk Tentrem was a serene and perfect culmination to our two weeks Bali getaway. We can't wait to return and relive the magic.
A beautifully designed hotel in the highlands of Wanagiri, the weather is cool and temperate after the humidity of Ubud. If you want to get away from it all this is the place, very peaceful and idyllic setting with a heated open-air swimming pool overlooking the jungle, mountains, and the sea. There is a waterfall a few minutes walk away. The room and bed were huge, everything very clean and well-maintained. Excellent shower. Food in the restaurant was delicious, staff are very friendly and professional. However, to make the most of this location you need your own transport, which we didn't have, so we only stayed one night before moving to Bedugul.
My wife and I had the most incredible stay at Villa Patria! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking green landscapes that surrounded us. The gardeners truly deserve a round of applause for their exceptional work in maintaining the beauty of the villa's grounds.
The culinary experience was equally impressive, with two talented chefs (who are brothers, btw) working behind the scenes to create dishes that were not only delicious but also visually stunning. We were lucky to have had the pleasure of interacting with the key personnel, Oka, Wayan, and Kadek, who went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met and our comfort was prioritized.
The villa itself was a haven of comfort and relaxation. Its vastness and serenity made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We spent our days lounging by the massive swimming pool, snuggling up on the plush sofas and armchairs, and even indulging in the tranquillity of the outdoor bale. The sounds of nature – birds chirping, insects buzzing, roosters crowing, and dogs barking – created a symphony of bliss that we never wanted to end.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat to recharge and unwind, Villa Patria is the perfect destination. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene and rejuvenating getaway from the crowds and noise. Thank you, Villa Patria, for leaving a lasting impression on our hearts!
We booked the spa, birthday decorations and birthday packages, and we were very satisfied. The location is inconvenient, but it has a beautiful view, even more beautiful than the terraces in Ubud. The hotel shuttle service in the morning costs 300k Indonesian rupiah and can be shuttled back and forth to watch dolphins. In addition, I am very impressed with Shirley's service. Her warm and friendly reception made me feel at home. Shirley was very knowledgeable about the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions. She patiently answered my questions and provided many useful suggestions. Her professionalism and attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable. Whether it was checking in or needing extra assistance, she was always smiling and helpful. Thank you Shirley for your excellent service and giving me an unforgettable memory!

KKristinaThis is not the first time I have returned to this hotel. We book a villa with its own pool, it is magical. Everything is thought out. A luxurious massage for 1 person is included in the price. A good buffet with a beautiful view of the volcanoes. So I recommend taking a tour from the hotel to the neighboring island and seeing a lot of fish! There is also a store on the territory where you can buy robes, exactly the same as those in the room, they cost only 400 local.
ЭЭмиль из ЛёнинбергаA great place, there is my yard with the exit to the shore. Well, I wouldn't risk swimming next to you as some drains fall and boats stand and lots of trash if the water is clean, the yard was lying on it and floating deeper. The road to the hotel is ground, through the field. Staff friendly, responsive. Kitchen on the street, there is a teapot, a refrigerator, microwave and a stove. The bathroom was not very stressful. In the house, it is cozy as grandmother in the village, there is air conditioning, smart TV, a lot of mosquito destruction equipment (spiral, electric flyer and ultraviolet flyer) .

CChia WenJust came back to my home country from Bali, finally it’s time for some hotel reviews. Checked in really late that day but there is 24 hours reception counter so not a problem. I have myself a garden view room, so please expect there will some noise coming from the lower floors if you are a light sleeper then this is something you need to consider. So far my room is okay except I saw a lizard in my room and ants coming from nowhere (nothing but accidentally poured over some water nothing sweet also). There are two universal power points by each side of the bed which come very handy so you don’t need to bring your own universal adapter but in my case one of the right side just not functioning.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel covers a large area, has two swimming pools, the rooms are very clean, the decoration is relatively new, if you pay for breakfast alone, the Indonesian meal is 50,000 per person, you can choose fried eggs and fried noodles, plus fruits and coffee and tea, which is very affordable. The hotel is very close to the pier. We stayed here for one night to chase dolphins. It is recommended.
ZZhangChiMy stay at this hotel was very pleasant. First of all, the location is extremely convenient, close to the city center and major attractions, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, modernly decorated, well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable, making it feel just like home. The staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to any needs. The breakfast had a great variety, and everything tasted wonderful, providing a great start to the day. The only minor issue was that the room’s soundproofing could be improved a bit, but overall, it didn’t affect the experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again next time
GGuest UserGreat place to be for a while. Nice swimming pool. A 20 minute walk to the center of Lovina. Food and drink bad and disproportionately expensive for Bali. (Western) breakfast also far below average. Cheese not melted with a sandwich and even toast is very difficult with stale bread. Staff very friendly and helpful with nice late checkout at 1pm.
We have moved in the meantime and the quality differed whether you got a renovated house or an older one. Some do and some don't.
