This just needs to be said - The Meneghetti Wine Hotel and Winery is the BIGGEST scam out there. Totally built on deception. Marketed in such way that you get to be ripped off either way. Terrible service and total ripp off in terms of food and staff. STAY AWAY FROM MENEGHETTI

First of all, the setting is unreal. In the middle of nowhere, yet within a short drive from Bale, Pula, Rovinj, you will find the beautiful Tuscani style grounds of Meneghetti. We booked one of the 10 hotel rooms in the main building, but there are 48 or so villas as well. The entrance lane, the pool deck, the gardens with its sculptures, the garden restaurant, even the vegetable garden, everything is kept immaculate and exudes tranquility. We loved the table-served breakfast with ample choice of dishes, fresh orange juice, cappucino. The dinner we had was excellent, and we also tried the wine tasting in the nearby winery. Not cheap but part of the experience. The thing that makes it special though is its staff, ever friendly and attentive. As someone wrote, this is definitely one of those places you will remember as “special”.

Ondanks reservering leken ze niet op onze komst voorbereid. Rondleiding was kort en gids niet erg enthousiast. De accomodatie was (erg) gemoderniseerd maar verliest daarmee z'n charme. Kregen zes wijnen maar geen uitleg over de wijn of over het proeven er van. Laatste wijziging vonden wij als enige lekker maar €55,- per fles. Er werden geen hapjes bij geserveerd en kregen geen nieuwe glazen. Samenvattend: geen aanrader

Incredible stay. Everything was spotless, absolutely loved it! From the lovely staff, to the splendid domain, to the yummy dinner and super massages. Special mention for the DJ at the pool, big fan of such details :-)

Beautiful hotel in the vineyards
This is a beautiful hotel, quitely located in the vineyards. Beautiful suite and very nice facilities. The only downsides are the beach club, which is very underwhelming, and the prices of the restaurants.
