Lovely small Boutique Hotel. Nice staff, clean and comfy rooms, lovely nice breakfast... Good place to go around in Istria, right in the middle. Bale is an old small Istrian town to go around per foot. Lokal food is great and delicous too. Just try it !

We were only there one night as we transitioned from Istria area to Zadar. Had we been traveling in September, this would have been a nice space to tour around the area. Free parking, easy to walk around the town and take in the shops that were still open. We really enjoyed the large room and nice quality breakfast.

Nice small hotel in central Istria. Friendly staff and great rooms in stile. The SPA (sauna for two and pool) is small but very clean. We enjoyed everything, good meal in restaurant too. Try local winw an beef. Parking is only few meters away.

I stayed 4 nights and did day trips to Poreč, Rovinj, and Pula. The village of Bale, where Hotel La Grisa is located, is worth exploring too. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. The bar and street cafe seating are very nice. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Room was comfortable. A/C worked well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s food was delicious. Wide variety of foods for breakfast as well.

We had 2 rooms, one was perfect 10/10!!! The second on the 3rd floor had a nasty smell but nevertheless worthy!

Unfortunately 1-star service for a 4-star hotel. Not for all but several employees working at reception. Watch out how they charge you unreasonable prices for massage and then sell the actual fair price as "of we make an exception for you". Did not manage to turn on the sauna on time as agreed on in advance and did not even manage to say sorry for that. Also sauna was running out of water. For a 4-star hotel with these prices, you have to make sure things are working. Whoever the owner is, please invest in better personal. Especially the ones at reception. Also very weird to have cameras in the sauna without saying anything.
Hotel itself is sweet with 14 tiny houses and also Bale I found it very pleasant to stay.
