Boschendal Estates must rank as one of THE places to stay in the Stellenbosch area. Surrounded by mountains on one side and rolling meadows on the other, the scenery is spectacular, and the location is ideal for visiting vineyards in the region. The Retreat Cottages where we stayed were charming and the staff at both the Deli and Werf restaurants were most helpful. Special mention for Marylise who went out of her way to accommodate our requirements and Peter our young hiking trail guide who persisted despite a severe allergy attack. Great breakfast at the Werf too!

Nice Homely place just far enough away from the main town. Good size room with a nice veranda area. Attentive staff and manager to make sure your stay is pleasant. Would recommend this place.

Top experience to be in this vineyard! Beautiful and large room , with a very nice personnel! Welcome wine drink and very good food at the restaurant. From dinner to breakfast, a top choice! Will be back soon!

Остановились на одну ночь, перед посещением парка. Номер чистый, как и территория должна. Красивый газон, по которому бегают белки, дети,.. небольшой бассейн. Можно расслабиться, полежать на лежаках, позагорать. Нам понравилось👍

We booked a room at Stellenbosch Hotel and received an upgrade to stay in their sister hotel - Coopmanshuijs. The hotel came with a porter who parked our car and moved pur luggage on our behalf. We had to check out early morning, so they packed a breakfast box for us. The room was beautiful and comfortable, had wifi and LED charged lights to use during load shedding hours, a mini bar, a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, and AC. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful, and we enjoyed the upgrade! It’s located about 5mins from the Stellenbosch Hotel, and close to most shops and restaurants. Highly recommend both hotels when you stay in Stellenbosch!

Exquisite location with gorgeous views. The room had central heating which was very welcome in winter. Highly recommend the Spa - we treated ourselves to one of the personal journey packages and it was totally worth it.

Quite and comfortable hotel with parking, several restaurants and a winery near it. Swimming pool is rather small (it is only one minor minus of this hotel), breakfast is varied, coffee is tasty. You need a car to go somewhere because we didn-t see any public transport there. But in SA it is a normal practice to explore Cape Town by car.

Was impressed with professionalism, service & friendliness.   Management personal attention commendable.  Parking is a constraint.  Always remember to close lift door so guests not left in lurch.  Keep it up!! Raymond Thurston

Good spacious room with terrace. Location is good, not far from city centre. People who work here nice, helpful. Feel very secure, quiet place , relaxing, had a very good sleep here, the bed is good
