I can't say enough good things about Chicken Ranch Casino Resort! My brother recently stayed here, and from the moment he arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure his visit was special. Everyone was incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. You don’t always find that kind of hospitality these days — but you absolutely will here. They weren’t just friendly — they were supportive in a way that felt personal. It wasn’t just customer service; it was human kindness. Whether it was help with accommodations, directions, or just making sure he felt welcomed, they delivered an experience that stood out in the best way. If you're looking for a place that values people and treats you like more than just a guest, I 100% recommend Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. It’s rare to find a resort that combines great amenities with a staff that has heart. This place does both — and then some. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!

It is said that this hotel has to be booked long in advance, otherwise it is difficult to book! Located in the Yosemite Valley, it is more like a resort hotel in nature, as well as a variety of activities for children, not to mention the environment. I was fortunate enough to book this hot hotel. When I checked in, I was told that the room was upgraded! ! Upgraded into a family room, I suddenly felt a little lost with my husband. We live in the K area. The tap water in the hotel is all spring water. I curiously tried the shampoo and hair care products that come with the bathroom. It feels very good. The shampoo conditioner feels anti-off, and the taste is light and loose. It smells good! Dinner in their restaurant, the high-cost western restaurant, opened in the valley, but the price is not expensive than the downtown restaurant, the taste is also very good, praise! !

Nice facilities with 24h hot tub and swimming pool. Food is good too and very cozy lodges. Some technical issues regarding payment but staff was fast to fix it. One drawback is it takes about an hour to drive to Yosemite but it’s manageable!

2024! Now celebrating our NINETEENTH Year advertising on VRBO! Our calendar and quotes are ALWAYS up to date and accurate. When we started advertising on VRBO, there were only 15 other properties and now there are about 300 in our area! We also have top rated reviews.Pricing: We have a NO haggling policy. We believe it's the best way to be fair to everyone. We are aware that some other owners often inflate prices only to discount them. We don't do business that way! At our discretion, we may occasionally decline reservations that create one night gaps in our schedule. Unfortunately there is no way to currently designate these dates in the VRBO reservation app. Do you understand or have questions about the service fee that VRBO instituted in early 2016? If so, please read the help text on the VRBO website. You cannot ask owners to waive this fee because if they do VRBO will suspend the owners ad. So please don't ask. We also have a second local property on VRBO. If you would like to save a little more money, please consider our golf course condo. VRBO#1295986.- GE Stovetop & Oven- GE French Door Refrigerator/Freezer- Bosch Dishwasher- GE Microwave- LG Air Conditioner- HD Coretex Flooring- Two 55" Smart TVs - Improved WIFI and internet service by Sierra Nevada Communications- Refinished Kitchen Cabinets- New Roof- Two new sidewalks and one new staircase outside- New landscaping including dry creek bed Please specify your exact arrival and departure dates and number of occupants. You just need to show your guest permit to the pool staff, sign in and follow all posted rules. Are you planning to visit Yosemite National Park? Our vacation home is conveniently located about 27 easy driving miles from Yosemite's west gate along Highway 120. You can be in Yosemite in as little as 30 minutes if you stay here. Each year we host many families who find it all here and never even bother with going to Yosemite! Please check our availability calendar for open dates that fit your schedule. Would you be interested in renting our home for 31 days or more during the off-season? We have had several families stay for a month or more while searching for their own PML dream vacation home! By doing so, we won't have to charge you the 12% Tuolumne County temporary lodging/hotel tax. The best months to do this are October, November, January, and February. December and March are available at a slightly higher cost. But hurry and check our calendar soon because once we accept shorter term reservations for a particular month, it will be unavailable. Our vacation home has adequate space at 1,714 sq ft and is equipped with all the necessary amenities. Plus we have both a custom billiard table and an upscale ping pong table. Our huge 33'X15' game room also functions as a THIRD bedroom. Two day minimum required for most rentals. Occasionally we may make an exception. We are located in Groveland at the Pine Mountain Lake gated resort community. This is not a cabin or old A-frame. This is a modern two bedroom, two bathroom home built in 1988 with central air-conditioning and heat. Modern appliances and furnishings include a washer, dryer, dishwasher, Weber barbecue grill, microwave, DVD, VHS VCR..Our Home is located about two blocks from seventh hole of golf course. One king in master bedroom, one queen in second bedroom. Game room: New Bunk Beds (2), fold down Double size futon and Queen mattress in downstairs game room. There is also a sofa upstairs that you can sleep on if necessary. Please NO party animals. Enjoy, but enjoy responsibly. This is not run down rental property, but our personal vacation home. This is a gated community, so you MUST enter through the Pine Mountain Lake Association (PMLA) Main Gate in order to reach house, which is located at 18992 Jimmie Bell St. in Groveland. Within the PML community it is also known as Unit 7 lot 170.PMLA HOA charges all renters $50 per vehicle for 2024 to enter the gated community. Each fee paid is good for up to 7 nights/8 days. You can read more info about this under Rates/Notes on our webpage. As owners, we must also pay HOA fees. For 2024, our annual fee is $3,128 per property. We are no longer accepting new reservations for pets as of April 7, 2021. Existing reservations will be honored. Please first try to respond through our VRBO ad. If you encounter any problems, you can try e-mailing us directly. Our YAHOO address is alanmiller2004.Wildfire Considerations:We strongly recommend travelers purchase travel insurance if they are concerned about fires during the peak fire season of roughly July 1 - October 15.In cases where CA state issues an evacuation order for Groveland, CA for any reason, 100% of all rental fees will be refunded.During 2013, we refunded 100% in rental fees due to the Rim Fire which came close to Groveland. We want to be fair to all guests, but all fires are not the same. As such, we reserve the right to assess a fire’s impact on the local area and compensate guests appropriately.During 2018, we refunded 50% in rental fees due to the Ferguson Fire when the air quality in the local, Groveland area was considered borderline unhealthy. However, this policy does not apply to fires in further away places like the 1200 square miles of Yosemite National Park where the air quality in Groveland is not impacted or marginally impacted.PMLA FEES: Pine Mountain Lake Association charges a $50 fee to ALL renters entering the community. Under the rules, you must check in with the guard at the main gate on Pine Mountain Lake Drive and state that you are renting our home. The gate is always open 24X7. Other roads like Mueller have card access only barriers which are only accessible by home owners. The guards are helpful and will even give you a map or directions upon request, but they also will charge you the $46 fee, good for the duration of your stay or up to 8 days. We ask for your understanding in this matter. Home owners also pay such fees, but much larger ones, approximately $3,128 per home each year. These fees help maintain the PMLA system of private roads, beaches, pool and other facilities.Rules & Restrictions:NO SMOKING inside the house. If smoking outside, please pick up all cigarette butts. Our housekeepers do not clean outside the house. BBQ must only be used on the back concrete patio and never in hazardous areas like our wooden balcony.Kitchen: Housekeepers do NOT clean dishes, pots and pans etc. Please clean the kitchen to at least the same level of cleanliness as you found upon entering the premises. Game room: The billiard table is for adult use only. Children may play ping pong. Do not move the pool table. Do not attempt to fold up the ping pong table. It is okay for a minimum of two adults to carefully slide the ping pong table a few feet to one side, but please put it back before leaving.Wood Stove: Please use extreme caution and obey any posted signs regarding the wood stove. You CANNOT park in the street. PMLA will give you a ticket. Please park your cars in our driveway or behind our house. You also cannot park in our garage which is a private owner storage area. By renting from us you agree to obey all local Pine Mountain Lake Association (PMLA) rules. To learn more, please go to our community website under the same name.Recycling: For many years we have provided recycling bins behind our home. We have recentlybeen forced to remove them. Too many renters apparently don’t read signs or don’t care and fill our bins with trash and dirty diapers. Sorry but it’s too much of a burden for a couple of retirees. We suggest you take your recyclables to Moore Brothers in Big Oak Flat.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 3-17.Billiard table is for adult use only..About customRules:Within 72 hours after booking, guest must provide copy of photo I.D. and have chat with owner via inbox..Not suitable for children under age three.
