Completely updated in 2015, this home offers splendid, unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean and Minot Lighthouse. It is spacious and offering 2 queen beds in the ocean facing bedrooms, 1 double bed, and 1 Twin over Double Bunkbed. The open living area has sweeping views of the ocean and direct access to the screened in porch and wrap around deck. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of your cookware needs and has a washer and dryer. Enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the beach. Located in Sand Hills, you can easily walk to get ice cream at the Sand Hills General Store (8 minute walk) or to the Harbor (20 minute walk to Front Street) for dinner, see a movie, shopping or enjoy the galleries. Revel in the gorgeous sunsets from your private deck or cast a line to fish from the shore line.The privately owned beach is primarily a stone studded beach with areas of sand and stone. The sand and stone mix can change daily and is accessed from eleven steps off the seawall.A sandy public beach is a short walk (less than 10 minutes) from the house. We do our best to maintain the furniture in the three seasons porch area; however, unpredicted weather and ocean mist can dampen the cushions/rug so we just want to be fully transparent with guests on the matter!Amenities:-This property features a starter set of supplies for guests which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, & hand soap. -The beds are fully made & ready for your arrival with freshly laundered linens.-Visiting like a local means being neighborly. Contemporary 3-story beach house on wonderful sandy beach with fantastic water views. At low tide you can take a two mile walk along the beach, barefoot! All wood floors (oak on first two floors, Brazilian mesquite on third), open layout on first floor ideal for entertaining, with Pella slider to 12' x 35' deck on ocean, with outdoor tables and seating for eating lobster while the sunset paints the sky. Outdoor shower on rear deck (8' x 35'.)On the second floor the two front (oceanside) bedrooms have king size beds, large closets; one has en suite bathroom w/ shower. Second full bath on same floor. Rear bedrooms have, respectively, two twin beds and a queen futon. Huge third floor great room/master suite has king size bed, additional bathroom, and possible additional sleeping space (w/ queen inflatable bed and two sofas.) Sleeps 10 to 14 altogether. Total area over 2600 sq.ft. This is a well-maintained, modern family cottage that is rented during the August high season and in the fall and spring (at reduced rates). This property is not available for large parties, wedding or otherwise. August rentals are weekly, Sat to Sat, which is normal for this area.
