The higher floor was great. The view is beautiful patio was comfortable. The room was very quiet even though it was near the elevator there was no problem at all. The beds were comfortable the pillows were very soft but not my style however they were great the Jacuzzi has no jets working. Justin at the front desk said That since the water was hot it was half working. I overall had a great time and I would stay here again it’s right on the beach and it has a good pool a nice Children swim area separate from the pool with the fence and the parking was free. All the staff were very nice overall

We stayed at the Best Western Speedway for 5 nights & checked in at 1:30 am. We went to our first room on ground floor with all our luggage that smelled like mold. We took a room on the 2nd floor that was better. We had a small dining table in our room but only 1 chair. Our room had a small fridge & a balcony with 2 chairs facing the pool that was nice. The pool was huge, that was great & a beautifull sunset at night. Monday morning leaving our room was like an obstacle course getting around all the dirty bed sheets & wet towels on the hallway carpet floor. That explains the funky hallway smells in the hallway. The hallway carpets looked old & beat with long dark unknown stains a couple feet long. The breakfast was meh. Our shower head in the bathroom only received ½ the water as the ½ came out spout of faucet when you pulled the shower diverter valve on the faucet. The bathroom exhaust fan is ancient & the switches are filthy. The hotel is in need of upgrading & renovation.

We ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean.
Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable.
My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped.
Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days.
I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does

My best friend and I did the photoshoot with Family Sunset Photos and were surprised at how fun and painless it was. It was really nice to have it so convenient to our stand our photographer put us right at ease. It only took about twenty minutes but she was able to capture over 200 photos. The hardest part was choosing which ones to keep!

We were forced to get a hotel room during our trip to Fl because my sister found out she had Covid the day of our arrival. We wanted someplace near NSB, so we choose Holiday Inn Express in the shores. Biggest mistake ever. As soon as we opened the door to the room, the musty smell overtook us, but thought once the AC ran awhile would be ok, I sprayed some room freshener I had… it was ok until you would leave the room for a period of time and you’d be hit with it again. There was black mold in the shower. The AC wouldn’t run right at night so it would get warm in the middle of the night… The first day there, I noticed the pool was dark and murky looking, I really wanted to get in, but not the way it looked. I questioned the girl at the desk, she says oh it’s fine, the chemicals checked ok.. I don’t think so, I own a pool and a hot tub. 2 hrs later the pool was roped off and closed for the day!! The elevators didn’t work the whole week we were there.. Got stuck once and some people were stuck for 20 mins and others 45 mins banging on the doors and I know first hand it’s hot in there, the A.C. never worked. My husband had to stand and wait sometimes up to 15 mins for the elevator and he’s handicapped. That is just unacceptable!! Most of the front desk were rude, we weren’t even offered to switch rooms or any credit for all these inconveniences. One day, the girl at the front desk waited on hotel employees before me, a paying guest, even after her supervisor told her to wait on the guest first.. rude!! The floors/ carpet in rooms are filthy, after a shower I forgot to put my Sandals on and my feet were black and had to wash them again. You expect rust on the beach, but not an inch of dust on the rust of the fixtures, clean them!! (Torey) that’s who didn’t clean our room and left mold in the shower. No coffee maker for the breakfast after 6 days of being there I kept expecting one to show up. But when I called there today to ask a question about my bill I’m told the elevator is fixed, new coffee maker everything is fixed now.. Am I expected to believe 2 days after I ck out it all got better??? Please, Please, please do not leave me your generic response because it’s insulting.. if you want to do something ask me to contact you for a credit… btw we stayed at a holiday in Lorton, VA and it had mold in the shower too?? What’s up with IHG. Positive note: the ladies during the breakfast were wonderful… I just feel for the price we paid, expected more, especially for weekend rates of 259.00 for what we got or should I say didn’t get

PPrachand SI stayed at the Daytona Autograph Hotel for 13 nights and I have to say it's one of the best hotels, not only because of the amenities, luxury and cleanness of the hotel but also because of the wonderful and friendly staff. I want to give a special thanks to the following staff member for making our trip an unforgettable and wonderful memory A big thanks to: Front desk : Sebastian, who checked us in and was so friendly and helpful with all our questions. He was a friendly face after a 24 hour travelling trip. Guest Services and All around Superguy : Doug, Thank you Doug for the friendly morning chats, helping us navigate to some of the best spots in Daytona: The Lighthouse, The Jetty, The flea market, The Speedway introduction tour and many more. Really appreciated the chats and your friendly open (always having a smile) personality to me and my family. One of the cleaning Staff : Abraham Thank you for the nice small conversations in the morning we had, you were always in a good mood and always happy to have a small chat and everywhere you had been cleaning looked spotless and smelled amazing after you were done The restaurant Staff: Drew, thank you for fixing the daily chicken burger for my son and sharing the gym talks and teaching me some of the slang: like no rush actually means..... Good luck continuing bulking and hitting your target. Thank you for the chats and your friendliness. Big thanks also to : Enkro (hope i wrote your name right) and the restaurant lady with the long curly hair and always a bubbly personality ( I apologize for not catching your name). You recommended an amazing fish restaurant which was a local treat. Both for your friendliness and kindness towards me and my family. Thank you to the F&B director Johnny for just daily inquiring about me and my family. Everybody to the hotel, thank you and we hope to see you soon again. Warm regards from Room 501, from cold snowy Norway
GGuest UserNot bad, very pretty

Health: quite clean
Environment: Nice. There is a big window where you can watch the sunrise in the room.
Service: The communication is not very clear, overall it’s okay^_^
The hotel's heated swimming pool and hot spring are nice and comfortable
GGuest UserFirst time at this hotel in Daytona! We were greeted with the most interesting and great staff! Great first impression from our Valet guy and Joe who stored our luggage until our room was ready! Bartender and Staff were also so friendly and welcoming ! Front desk staff were just as awesome !
Staff is amazing. Great reach other like a family and their guests too. Teach the bartender was awesome. So friendly. Makes duende with everyone. Recommended the best food. It drinks were fantastic. She is top notch. We highly recommend this place and having drinks and dinner in the hotel.
IinfoP5873ECThis hotel was a great stay. We had an ocean facing room, the room was clean, the hotel was in a good location to local restaurants, shopping and only a few minutes from the Daytona Speedway. Lots of seating around the pool and from the pool deck you walked out onto the beach.
GGuest UserWe did not stay at the holiday inn but went there to eat and have a few drinks the 2 nights we were in town for the Daytona 500. We’ve been to Daytona Beach countless times and really enjoy going to the Holiday Inn over the tourist trap restaurants which are usually crowded and “less clean”. This trip, we met Milly on the first night. She was a lovely bartender and server. Milly has the sweetest personality and was on point with everything. Super-friendly young lady! We walked in on night 2 and she walked right over to us with our beverage of choice and chatted for a bit. Also a shout out to the kitchen because the food on both occasions was delicious. We’ve also been there for lunch during the day and ate out on the extensive patio which is very nice. Definitely check this place out and if you do, be sure and ask for Milly!
GGuest UserThis property is very nice, and the location-INCREDIBLE! It was right on the beach and the view from my room was breathtaking! The staff was very courteous and attentive. The manager, Pat, was very kind and friendly. She made sure I had everything and more that I needed while on my stay. She suggested things to do and places to go. My room was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend staying here!
AAlexandria BThe whole building was in excellent shape and kept clean. The room was comfortably cheap and kept in great condition. Beautiful ocean view and soft beds. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others. Great for families. The pools were nice and it had easy beach access.
GGuest UserLocation was perfect for what we needed. The pool was nice and access to the beach was perfect. The staff was less than inviting and some were just rude. The rooms were good sized but HOT. Needed to buy a fan to sleep. The AC units do not work as they should. The fan in the bathroom does not do it’s job. Had to shower with the door open to breath. The doors do not seal thus allowing even more hot air into an already hot room. If my room had not been prepaid I would of left after the first night. We were miserable trying to sleep. This LqQuinta does NOT live up to the many I have stayed in over the years. Very Disappointed!
