Check Phanom Hotels with Balcony

On the hotel street of Khao Sok National Park is this lovely hotel. The room is really functional. At that price it really is a gem. The staff is really very friendly. They will not hesitate to offer you excursions to visit the national park. It really is a golden address to visit the area.

Beautiful, calm, serene, and secluded. One of the best decisions to do a relaxing 3d2n here. Self drove up and booked our stay directly with the ecolodge. An amazing glamping experience and everything was very clean. Can imagine this blowing up once it gains more popularity esp from krabi and phuket. Tents were very sturdy and cosy which was perfect for lazing around. The toilets and shower are also super clean and felt like we were bathing in nature. Everything was well protected from the elements and insects but situated right in the middle of breathtaking scenery. There 's a restaurant in house as well. If you have a vehicle or bike would recommend driving out for meals but the restaurant would suffice for something simple. We settled both dinners here. The breakfast included was also amazing- full American breakfast with coffee tea and a bowl of porridge. Above all, the staff were super helpful and friendly! We were greeted by Num who made our stay wonderful. The 3 days we stayed here would not have been the same without him . He suggested things for us to do and also shared what other guests were doing in case we wanted to as well (on property massage in this case). We were also running late for breakfast one day and he very kindly set aside our share even though it was after bfast hours. Loved our stay here!! Would definitely recommend and be back with family.

- Great airconditioning! - Fresh water every day when they clean! - It has a nice location. -There is a lot of monkeys, which at first scared me a little after reading the reviews, but they kept to themselves and it was sweet to watch the little ones. - There is a waterslide into the river (clean water) and also a rope to swing into it. The pool is also nice and chill. - My compliments to the staff which was so nice and helpful at the reception. We booked the jungle night tour through them : very fun for families en friends! I was a little hesitant at first, because of the insects. But after the staff convinced me it was fun and not scary, we had a great time. We were picked up at the hotel. We also booked the elephant trip to the Buathong elephant home, which was very special and fun. We asked around 9 in the morning if we could still book it and an hour later we were picked up! There were no other tourists at the time (10.30 in the morning). They offer two elephant trips. We went to the one where you don't sit on them, which is bad for their spine and I don't encourage. We also booked the day lake tour through the hotel (great for couples, family and friends). They provided us with raincoats (which we luckily didn't need), a delicious meal and water. You can't go to Khao Sok and not see the lake. It was 100% the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I also used the laundry service. I think they mixed the different colored items or something else went wrong, because some of my white clothes turned grey.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It rained for a lot of the first 2 days ( rainy season) and was dry for the last one. We did the lake trip ( not with hotel) which was lovely. Our tour guide did not arrive to collect us and the hotel were fantastic, communicating with our tour company and eventually driving us to the lake themselves. The staff in the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much terrible for them. The best thing we did was the elephant sanctuary arranged by the hotel which was an amazing experience. The tubing was also great fun. The rooms were bit damp and hard to get dry in the weather. Fairly basic accommodation but amazing to be with nature and monkeys so close, although they were naughty and pinched things from our balcony. Over so I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Khao Sok Country Resort which turned out a smart and convenient decision. We toured Khao Sok National Park which was literally a 1 minute car ride from this Resort which provided for easy and quick access from our lodge. Our room itself was only 500 THB per night which we only spent time there for the evening and sleep. The wifi was good, the shower warm, and air con very efficient. Plus we found the bed incredibly comfortable. Overall, this was a high value and high efficient stay which we're gladly do again.

It is a very user-friendly place. The hotel breakfast is delicious and fully reflects the harmony between man and nature. The naughty monkeys are lovable. The kind-hearted boss and staff are dedicated to their responsibilities. Thank you very much for the wonderful time this hotel brought to the journey.

WOW! What can we say about the Riverside Cottages? Within 10 minutes of our arrival we’d already seen a Mangrove Cat Snake gracing us with its acrobatics from the restaurant/reception area balcony. We were in F11 lodge which was perfectly located for all the amenities. Reading other people’s reviews we expected excessive jungle noise in the evening, but we didn’t find this to be the case. Yes, you can hear crickets and chicadas as well as birds but nothing too bad. We also booked on to the overnight lake tour which was INCREDIBLE! A real must and the highlight for us taking a kayak out to a nearby bay and peacefully watching the gibbons and macacs give us our very own insight in to their play and survival in the jungle. Staff amazingly friendly and helpful, everything you need. Remember to take cash as no cards accepted. Frequent free shuttle in to nearby Khao Sok town where you can get a drink or access the National Park.

We have just completed a wonderful stay here. The setting, overlooking the Khao Sok rain forest and overlooking the river, is simply magical. The rooms are pretty small, but lovely, clean and air conditioned. The restaurant has a relatively limited range, but the food is delicious and great value - helpful because unless you have your own transport you are relatively cut off. But for 3 days, it was a simple, tranquil, idyllic base for our Khao Sok excursions. Most of all, the staff were a delight - so friendly, helpful and welcoming. It's a pretty intimate stay, where you are with the staff a lot through all your meals, but that suited us, and we were sorry to leave, and very grateful for the warmth and hospitality that we received during our stay.

What an absolutely amazing accommodation! The scenery that surrounds the place is breathtaking and really gives you the feeling of being away from the world. The staff are so kind and attentive, nothing was ever too much for them (even sorting getting our bags to us when we had last minute changes to travel plans). They also helped us arrange some tours and travel arrangements easily, which really helped us unwind after a long journey to the accommodation. Having a breakfast watching the monkeys swing from the treetops really made the stay that extra bit special, plus the food was delicious! Rooms had a lovely rustic feeling with everything you’d need for a comfortable couple of days (or longer). As a heads up the beds are firm but I didn’t mind at all! Highly recommend to anyone for a unique experience which really captivates Khao Sok as soon as you get there.
