Fujikawaguchiko Hotels with Balcony

Staying at a ryokan facing Mount Fuji was like stepping into a different rhythm of life — one where everything slows down, and every detail feels intentional. The location was scenic as we could see both the lake and Mount Fuji clearly. The private Onsen had amazing view! Service was excellent and buffet was great with lots of choices. The steak was very nice! Would recommend this hotel as had a lovely time!

It is a resort tucked away from the busy Kawaguchiko station area, yet convenient to go to the station for sightseeing buses thanks for the hotel shuttle bus. Please check the shuttle schedule on the hotel website. We really enjoyed the beautiful hotel garden and trails by the lake outside the hotel. You can also rent bikes from the hotel with minimal fees and ride around the lake. The buffet breakfast has variety of both Japanese and western options. We had dinner in the hotel too since there is no restaurants in the vicinity. The food is fine but pricey. The onsen is nice. I am not sure it is hot springs water though. Overall it is a very nice hotel and we had a relaxing day here.

Excellent hotel for families. We enjoyed our stay here. This place was top-notch with cleanliness, modern western style rooms which was very roomy for our family, bathroom was amazing filled with amenities and most of all, have a nice view of Mount Fuji if the room is facing it. There was a relaxing onsen (hot springs) which was much needed after a long day. This place is perfectly located in Kawaguchiko and close to all the convenience stores, restaurants, various stores, and tourist spots. We were in town to visit Fujiten Snow Resort and this hotel was nearby by car (approximately 20 minutes). Since we have been living in Japan, this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at. Highly recommend for one visiting Kawaguchiko. Thank you!

Excellent stay. We got the whole building, large, new with fantastic room. Drinks and everything in room are included. The hotel is not far away from the Kawaguchiko station, great location and services arounds, Highly recommend it! also pick up drop off service at the train station - you can book in advance with hotel during certain hours. Hotel's staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The owner was really friendly and nice, gave us a thorough brief on where we could go and also the times most possible to see Mt fuji in it full 😄 He also helped us when we were stranded cos of the buses (take note bus ends early! do check timings, dont be like us) Really enjoyed our stay there! The convenience of the red-line bus stop so near was also great. Thank you!!

Ideal holiday home. The staff is very friendly and familiar with using translation software to communicate. They can handle my poor English calmly. Good impression 1. Because the luggage is too big to be stored at Kawaguchiko Station, and the weather is bad that day, I went to check in early. The staff started to say that early check-in may incur some fees and I have to ask the person in charge. Finally, they told me that early check-in does have to be charged, but this time it is free. I think it is because the weather is really bad, and the hotel gave understanding. Good impression 2. When leaving, because it was snowing, the reserved taxi was full. The hotel took the initiative to send us to the station the next day, and finally did not charge any fees. Good impression 3. The whole atmosphere and environment are really good, especially when it snows again. It is simply a forest fairy tale house. You can also cook. There is a mall with enough ingredients for a 15-minute walk. We cooked dinner for two days. It is more convenient to take a taxi from Kawaguchiko Station to the hotel, and it is not realistic to walk. It takes about ten minutes to take a taxi. About 100 yuan? The transportation is not too convenient. But fortunately, you can ask the staff to call a taxi for you. The last suggestion is that the bathroom floor and disposable slippers are not suitable. It is easy to slip when there is water. I fell twice... In addition, it would be great if there is a simple skin care bag! My husband and children are very satisfied with the hotel we booked in Mount Fuji this time. It is worth recommending.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!

There is also a sauna, so it was great for large groups to stay. I think the sauna can only fit 4.5 people. If you drive there is a Don Quijote nearby, so I recommend it!

My second stay with them in 2 years! Once you arrive at Kawaguchiko station, head to tourist information centre to get them to call the ryokan to pick you up. The ride is 5mins! The walk itself is about 10mins but hilly. You wouldnt want to do that with luggages in tow. The room is very clean and has great view of Lake Kawaguchiko. Our stay came with breakfast and dinner. Dinner was great! Most items were delicious. Breakfast is buffet style and pretty average. Their private and female onsen have views of mt Fuji!
