GGuest UserThe hotel has an old-fashioned, rustic charm, which also makes it feel a bit dated. Overall, it met my expectations for the stay, and I had a good experience. Breakfast was an Indonesian-style buffet, but many of the dishes weren't to my taste.

The place is beautiful, with a garden in the courtyard.
The rooms are also clean and tidy.
The location is excellent, easy to get around.

Good:
- spacious for two people
- big clean bed with a good mattress
- good air-conditioning
- room amenities like a mini fridge and water cooker
- very friendly staff
Could be better:
- fresher looking towels
- more responsive water temperature controls in the shower.
- a chef that stays in the hotel during breakfast hours (breakfast is from 7-11, but the chef left before 10)
Bad:
- Any sounds from outside are just as loud in the room (mosque, rooster) because the windows can't close properly. Earplugs are advised.
