Nantong Hotels with Balcony

It's very close to the zoo. The parent-child room is very clean. The service staff are also very friendly. They have pink decorations. My kids like it very much. There are also picture books in the room, and the sink is separated for parents and children, which is very convenient. There is a children's paradise just outside the room. The children are very happy. There are many children and they are very happy. The hotel also has an a la carte dinner, which is cost-effective and tastes average. It’s no problem to be full. The breakfast is really ordinary, but it’s no problem to be full. Takeaway is not very convenient and the delivery fee is high. It’s a good choice for two days and one night at the safari park. I came here specially. There is no need to live there, there is nothing around, and there are some activities at the farm.

I chose this hotel because I wanted a staycation with an open air swimming pool. The room was big and spacious, with a beautiful balcony (but not on the swimming pool). The bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower and all around the room there were little surprises such as fish food to use for the pond fish, little mottos in both chinese and english, bathgel and other toiletries. What was not evident, though, is that some of this things were not for free! The big bottle of water that we expected to be free (5star hotel, 500 yuan per room!!) was indeed not, and it was written in extremely fine prints on the bottle. Same for the tea leaves in the teaset! Another disappointment was the breakfast. The choice and quality were ok, but definitely not at a 5-star hotel level. No choice in sweet bread, no coffee and very little variety of fruits.

I was going to visit the Forest Zoo during the holidays. When I saw that there was a 4-hour traffic jam from Shanghai, I decided to drive to Nantong one night in advance and booked this hotel... The name was changed to Hilton Garden Inn, so I almost couldn't find it. It was actually an Ibis. I booked a so-called deluxe double room. The layout of the room is rather strange. It is quite small. I wonder why I had to ask for an extra bed. The mattress of the double bed collapsed seriously. I didn’t sleep well all night. It is about three-star standards and the price of more than 300 on May 1st is not worth it. I had too many expectations. The breakfast was better than I expected. It’s okay to stay casually.

之前住過維景，看到頁面上跳出來的選項有比維景評分還高，起步價位也更高的，就想着來住一下試試，首頁上寫着早餐很好，但是訂房的時候沒有帶早餐的選項，猜測會不會是由於早餐好，所以需要在房價之外另付費？辦理入住以後，詢問了早餐情況，原來真的是不備早餐的，這是我入住這個價位的酒店以來遇到的第一次沒有早餐提供的酒店，略有失望😞 酒店外部環境一般，但是房間內部衞生還可以，房間比較大，是套房，有兩個衞生間。可能是因為起步都是套房的原因，且房間對外望去是一條景觀河，所以才定的這個價格吧，但是服務上，硬件設施及外部衞生環境等還是跟定價有些差距的。也可能是有維景在那裡做對標，和旁邊維景比，還是有差距，本來是定的兩天的房間，但是由於酒店空調製冷效果實在是不佳，即便問前台小姐姐借了一台電扇整晚吹着，依然降温效果不佳，睡眠不佳的話人就沒精神，所以還是提前退了房間改住了旁邊的維景。 前台小姐姐和前台的一個阿姨都很熱情，我點的外賣送錯了樓棟，前台小姐姐還幫我去拿了送給我，非常感謝！

找了好天氣來崇明過週末，在一眾民宿裏看到了這家loft設計很感興趣。之前很害怕民宿是照騙，這家真的是超預期的。小小的庭院沿湖有四棟loft和一棟主建築，每棟風格都不一樣都臨湖，每一棟都充滿了設計感。店家給我們免費升級到了槐序，是簡約原木風，上下兩層各有一張大床，我們是兩大兩小+育兒嫂，剛剛好。聽介紹首陽有小童玩樂區更適合親子，下次打算再試一試。 房間佈局設計很合理，上下兩張床都可以看風景，露台很大，如果沒帶娃真的可以在露台坐一下午看看書了。有娃的我們沉浸式在門外的室外場地盪了四種不同的鞦韆，還去對面農場觀察了鵝和鴨，第二天去摘了菜，如果是兩個小時户外是夠玩的。再多可能對孩子會有些無趣。 服務：三個服務人員很年輕也很友善，主動帶我們去農場玩，看到帶了育兒嫂立馬給我們加了份免費早餐，我們提的需求也基本5分鐘內辦完，能感覺到很用心的在經營這個民宿，走的時候又是送菜又是送玉米，送喝的，搞的我們都不太好意思了。 提幾個建議：1. 泡池的水太小了，浴缸又很大，所以最後沒用成。因為介紹寫了可以泡澡，所以客人會有這個預期，沒有泡成會有遺憾。2. 目前的設計開了空調後暖氣都往上跑，上面熱的很，下面剛剛好，導致上面晚上太熱蓋不住被子，看有沒有方法改善。3.寶寶餐衹有粥和雞蛋，明顯是不夠的。大人的早餐雖然是固定的但品類也不少了。我們問廚房寶寶餐有沒有包子回答是沒有。建議在這樣一個房價，餐食可以添加，會體驗更好 。

Fly in the ointment: the sound of doors closing around is a little loud, but the sound cannot be heard in other rooms. It is recommended to get a rubber pad to close the door to reduce shock and sound. The lovely lady at the front desk even gave me a small gift, which is so considerate. You can check in early, and you can check out at 14 o'clock the next day. It's a cost-effective choice. There is an open-air parking lot next to it. It's great.

At first, I didn't have high expectations for the zoo. I thought that since the kid 👧 wanted to go, then let her go. She said she wanted to stay in the cute pet tree house, so we arranged it for her (in fact, I've read many reviews saying that red pandas are very random and may not go to the room), so this time, I'll just let it go as fate would have it as to whether the red pandas go to our room. The parking lot was quite large when we arrived at noon. Maybe it was because we went on a weekday, so there were not many tourists. We checked in at the reception center (you can only get the room card to the room after 3 pm), and the face scanning entry itinerary was very smooth. There are mobility scooters 🛺 in the park that can be used by scanning the code. The small car is 60/hour, and it is actually quite crowded for 2 adults and 1 child. The large car is 120/hour. We had a lot of stuff on the first day and rented a large one, at least it was comfortable to sit in. The mobility scooter can also enter the drive area to feed the animals, so we used the mobility scooter to drive to the drive area. The drive area is 9 kilometers long, and it is quite relaxing to walk, stop and feed the animals, but it's still I felt that we didn't bring enough vegetables and fruits. I felt that if we had enough food, we could feed them for a whole day. The advantage is that we don't have to bother our mothers, and they don't cling to us. It's so relaxing hahahaha; we dawdled until 3:30 pm to get the room card to enter the room. It was just when the red pandas came out to play. We were lucky. When we got to the room to put down our luggage, one of the ”cuties” named Guagua went straight to our room to ”welcome” us, and we were so happy that we followed it the whole time; after 9 o'clock the next morning, another two ”cuties” also ran to our room and played for a while; this trip was worth it. A total of 3 ”cuties” came to our room hahaha, and the ladies who took care of the ”cuties” were also very gentle throughout the trip and very friendly to the children; I came to ”banwei” on weekdays, and the adults also felt that feeding animals with the children was really healing. I must arrange to stay for a few more nights after the New Year. Facilities: The park is really big, but there are not many choices for food, the price-performance ratio is not very high, and there is nothing to eat around; the breakfast variety is not much, but it is enough to eat Service: The overall service is good, the reception center is also relatively comprehensive, the staff in the park and the service staff in the guest room are also very kind, and they will answer any questions. One night is indeed a bit insufficient, because the children spent a lot of time feeding the animals, so the tickets for the ice and snow world were not used, and there was no time to play.
