"Love their home cooked dishes! We rather go back to hotel for meal after Gubei water town. The couple bosses were so sweet to let us indicate spiciness and accommodate our minor diet restriction. They dun have noodles but they used alternative ingredients to make some gourd dish that tasted close to noodles. The rooms were big, in SG standard, one bed was queen size and the other was super single. Their bathroom was newly renovated and love their heater installed at shower cubicle, making it more comfortable to shower in cold weather. The couple bosses provided great tips on local transport to help us get to/fro Jinshanling for sunset and sunrise opportunities. They are situated around 5min drive from Jinshanling ticketing. Love the room doorstep views overlooking the geese and house dog. We will choose this hotel next time!"

"Location is unbeatable!! The hotel is right before the entrance gate to the Jinshanling Great Wall cable car station and trail heads. You can actually hike up to good view points on the Great Wall injust 30-40 minutes. The hotel is in good condition. The room is mostly clean and well maintained. The AC works well. Toilet has a weird smell but didn't bother me that much. Wish they provided conditioner (only shampoo and shower gel were in the bathroom). Restaurant has many options for Chinese dishes and so is the buffet breakfast. If I come back, definitely book it again for the excellent location."

"We hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!"

"I took my parents to Jinshanling for a three-day, two-night off-peak getaway. **Environment:** The hotel's location is excellent. Right outside, you'll find restaurants and a bakery, and just a short walk away is a large lawn. The interior environment is simple and quiet. **Service:** What's truly commendable is that I added Si Han from the front desk on WeChat during check-in. She was very gentle and polite in person, and always resolved all our issues promptly. Because I was with my parents, she often anticipated our needs. The next time I go to Jinshanling, I'll definitely look for her again. **Private Hot Spring Experience (2 hours):** We used the private hot spring for two consecutive days. It's indeed much smaller than the one at Wulingshan, and the tea and snacks provided weren't as refined. However, the excellent service made up for it."

There were books and a reading lamp by the bedside, making it easy to fall asleep after a couple of pages. The hotel service was excellent. They added me in advance with their contact information and informed me of the location, parking, and other details before I checked in. During my stay, communication and response were very quick. They even provided sincere and practical solutions for a minor water outage due to maintenance. I truly felt at home. The staff were all very nice, especially the guy who greeted me. Before leaving, I wanted to ask for the hotel's name, but they said no thanks, haha—such a big heart! The amenities were also great. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of choices. The First Canteen was very convenient, and the burger was delicious. My favorite restaurants for main meals are Shiwei Valley and Xiaomai. The public bathhouse is also quiet and comfortable with few people. The mountain forest exploration route and the corner tower climbing route both offer beautiful scenery. It's a nice day! The dog is super cute. I love that when you come to Aranya, you don't have to worry about anything else. It's perfect for a relaxing 2-3 day getaway!"
