The room was amazing and spacious. Unfortunately the room with Mountain View were limited hence unable to book for that room. Anyway, the staff were friendly and it serves great breakfast. The distance to the nearest train station is somewhat on the down side as there were little to no street lights went walking back from the train station. Overall, I would say it’s a pleasant experience staying in this hotel and will consider again for my next trip.

Hotel Review: Holiday in Salzburg
We had a delightful stay at Holiday in Salzburg during our trip. The hotel’s location is excellent—easily accessible via public transport, with both the train and bus stations nearby, making it very convenient for travelers.
The staff was attentive and present, ensuring that all our needs were taken care of promptly. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after exploring the city. The amenities offered were sufficient, and everything was in good working order.
Overall, our stay was a happy one, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg. It provided great value for the location and service.

Hotel Sacher is famous in Austria. When I was doing guides before, I saw more of Sacher in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. I really wanted to experience this hotel during this trip, and considering the cost (Salzburg is cheaper), I booked Sacher in Salzburg.
The front desk of the hotel was very friendly. She knew that I was Chinese and chatted with me in simple Chinese. She said that she had studied Chinese for a year, but she almost gave it back to the teacher😂. After check-in, he personally took me to the room and told me that the cake could be purchased from the store downstairs or ordered at the café for afternoon tea. As for the taste of the cake, I am a heavy chocolate dessert lover and I like it (the cream on the side can relieve the greasiness).
It should be noted that the hotel will provide an afternoon tea and two sacher cakes in the afternoon [laughing R]. In the morning, I felt that the single buffet was a bit expensive, so I chose room service for more than half the price, and the result was amazing. The coffee comes directly from the pot, and the brewed taste is really strong. Not to mention the yogurt jam, it is my favorite every time I go to Europe. It is really good to have breakfast facing the window, and it does not affect my mood on rainy days.
The hotel's corridors and room layout are very unique, and each room is different. All in all, this sacher is really good if Salzburg occasionally gets corrupted.

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner. The reception staff are always attentive and polite. They have greeted me with a smile whenever they saw me. The restaurant Mirabelle's Italian cuisine is one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff there are very welcoming and caring. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

The hotel is in a very good location. You can reach the old town through the tunnel. There are many attractions and you can walk there. The transportation is also convenient. There is a bus stop at the door. The front desk is friendly. Although the room is small, the hygiene is also good. The Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel is very delicious. The Fujian boss lady cooks delicious dishes, which satisfies the Chinese stomach. Salzburg's Mirabell Palace and the castle fortress are highly recommended

The most satisfied hotel during this trip is also the only one in Germany and Austria. The air-conditioned breakfast is rich. All service staff wear national costumes. The hotel building is very retro. The old building is spacious. There is a problem with the beautiful small fountain in the garden. This time I was renting a car. I stopped at this hotel for a day and the next day at the hotel where my friend stayed. The original saying was ”Everyone said that we only have to stop for a day and we can't prove it.” I hope that the facilities of the capitalist country will further improve the entire Salzburg. I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched.

Didn’t really have a good experience on this but thank god Trip did compensate a small fee. The room is good, the hotel is good BUT whoever that has booked please read this:-
1. Make sure they send you a pin code to enter the hotel at least 3 days before or else keep emailing and calling before you reach. There is no workers all automated if you reach and have no code to enter you are stranded! Yes there is a phone to call but Im not sure why the phone doesn’t work properly!! I called 7 times only to 1 time they pick up. And finally after waiting in the cold for 30 mins they let me know the pin code to enter. Its very hard to contact the hotel maybe because im not using local phone number. Contacted trip and they themselves couldn’t contact them in time. According to the hotel, there should be an email from them with instructions and code.
2. Yes, I do love the concept of having no one to check in but at least leave like an ipad or a screen for guest to check and contact???
3. Rooms were nice, blinds were automatic. Clean and have smart tv. They do have elevators thank god.
Besides the ‘PIN number’ enter check in, its all good.

携携程旅行顾问JoaLooking at the high-net commentary, I finally saw the charm of the front desk elder sister, warm and cheerful, humorous and intimate. One seems to have settled the hotel's work. I saw that we had arranged two large rooms and introduced the room personally. In-house facilities and usage, proud to tell you that these functions are made in Germany, not only send a gift bag in each room, but also tell you that all the drinks in the refrigerator are free, and the service attitude is the best in the entire Eastern European line. However, there is no air conditioning in the room. It is estimated that the old building cannot be installed. Only Dyson's fan, the room we stayed in is still a bit stuffy! There are three large windows in the friend's room, which is well ventilated and more comfortable than us!

牛牛Leaving the new city for about 20 minutes by car, the hotel is halfway up the mountain and is small in scale. It is similar to a mountain villa. It has a three-story building with no elevator and a small swimming pool in the courtyard. The size of the room is good, but the configuration is relatively simple. The lock to open the door is very old-fashioned and inconvenient to carry. The restaurant is decorated very warmly. It feels fresh in the morning and the view is open. There is nothing else to boast about. [囧]I think it is more suitable. Hotels nearby residents choose for weekend family trips

MMiaotutu.SThe hotel is a bit like the whole season, clean and comfortable. There are lush banyan trees outside the balcony, and it is very comfortable to sit on the balcony with fresh air. There is a bus stop at the door, and the free parking lot at the door is also very convenient if you drive by yourself. Ten minutes drive from Salzburg Fortress, very close. Toiletries and slippers are not provided, you need to bring your own.

Facilities: The double room I booked is average in size. But the hotel has a relatively large and beautiful backyard, which is a surprise.
Food: Since there are good Chinese restaurants near the train station, I didn't eat at the hotel.
Overall: The hotel is in a good location and the transportation is very convenient. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the train station. If you bring children, you can consider it.

AAnonymous UserHaus Wartenberg is charming and feels like you are staying at your grandmother’s house. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is lots of antique and vintage art and furniture to look at. Staff were helpful and friendly.
There were a just few things that could have made the stay better. The rooms didn’t have air conditioning or fans provided - or I wasn’t offered one. In the room, bedsheets had visible stains and there was some light dust and common household bugs in the room.
The old furniture gives it a nice touch. There are some nice spaces to enjoy relaxing like reading a book etc.
If you like an alternative feeling to sterile and stale hotel environments then this is the place for you!
