The location is a bit remote, especially the entrance to the hotel is very small and has no lights. But it is OK to enter the hotel, the lobby is very high and there is a swimming pool. The room facilities are OK, the service is average, and many operations are outsourced. It feels like a hotel built by a local tycoon, and the hotel management level is average. The food is average, not very delicious, and the overall cost performance is not high.

Great hotel, great value for money. It is a relatively small five-star hotel. Every room has a bottomless sea view and a beautiful swimming pool, which children like very much. It is very convenient to go out to the beach.

Lovely hotel . Right on sea front .Bright spacious, airy rooms with full glass wall and balcony looking on to beach. TV . Fridge , safe , and WiFi in room . Comfy bed and full a/c . Breakfast and dinner buffets are ample with good choice of tasty foods . There is a guy just next to hotel called Asela who does tours and has a tuk tuk who we used and is very reliable and very good prices .

War die letzte Station nach einer Rundreise durchs Land. Kleineres Hotel, welches direkt am ruhigen Strand liegt. Eigentlich ideal zum entspannen, aufgrund der wenig belebten Gegend, wären hier nicht die aufdringlichen Strandverkäufer. Diese stürzen sich auf einen, sobald man den Strand betritt und akzeptieren auch teilweise keine Absagen. Wenn man sich im Hoteleigenen Liegebereich aufhält, dann warten diese am Zaun zum Strand und starren die Gäste unentwegt an. Anlage und Zimmer sind im Großen und ganzen schön, solange man nicht genauer hinsieht. Hie und da, würde manche Ausbesserung nicht schaden (neue Verfugungen, zerrissene Schirme austauschen, abgebrochenen Verkleidungen ausbessern, usw.). Grund für die mittelmäßige Bewertung ist aber ausschließlich der mittelmäßige Service. Personal zwar freundlich, aber sehr unaufmerksam. Im Barbereich (welcher durchaus westliche Preise verlangt) wartet man oft vergeblich auf eine Bedienung und muss teilweise erst über die Rezeption Personal organisieren. Zur Frühstückszeit ist oft der ganze Buffetbereich komplett verwaist inkl. der angebotenen Eier/ Waffelstation. Hier muss man immer wieder 10-15 Minuten warten, bis man jemanden findet. Kaffee und Tee ähnlich … es wird vom Personal zwar wahrgenommen, dass Gäste sich platzieren, jedoch muss man immer wieder den Servicekräften für eine Bedienung nachlaufen. Auch der hauseigenen Liegebereich wird nicht regelmäßig gesäubert. Hier findet man am Folgetag immer wieder etliches an Geschirr und Müll vom Vortag. Das sind zwar alles Dinge die mal vorkommen können, aber nicht, wie dort erlebt, laufend passieren sollten. Essen ist wenig abwechslungsreich, aber halbwegs gut. Positiv hervorgestochen ist hier der Roomservice - da hat alles gepasst.

Довелось побывать в этом отеле 1.01-8.09 1925 года , приехали в отель в 13.00 к заселению , тут же выяснилось что двух номеров для нас нет ( принимающая сторона Библиоглобус !!!!) Менеджер отеля сытый лысый дядька- Ланкиец сказал что воду прорвало в номерах и они устраняют последствия ( как позже выяснилось это было наглое вранье , отель продает места вперед не хочет допускать простоя ) нам предложили отель 2* чтобы переночевать ( видели бы этот отель , бетонные полы . вай фая нет , в розетках 127Вольт что даже не зарядить телефон ,двери в номера не закрываются ) посмотрев на то что нам предложили мы решили вернутся обратно в Синагаву с мыслью что лучше спать на ресепшене чем не проснутся в другом отеле .... приехав обратно в Синагаву мы с удивлением обнаружили что "доброго" холеного лысого менджера- Ланкийца как ветром сдуло , очевидно он не захотел с нами разбираться и слушать наши притензии , другой менеджер который занял его пост объявил нам что заселится сможем только в 24.00 . то есть через через 11 часов после первого появления в отеле ( и это после практически 24 часов в дороге ) Разочаровал Библиоглобус как принимающая сторона они ничего не сделали что бы ускорить процесс заселения . из чего мы делаем вывод что администрации отеля просто наплевать на нашего всеми известного " туроператора" -Библиоглобус ( постараемся впредь не пользоваться услугами данного туроператора ) ,все что получилось выбить Библиоглобусу у администрации отеля по части компенсации за неудобства ,так это три ужина , нас очевидно администрация приняла за бомжей из России , так и эти три ужина нам давал менеджер ресторана с таким видом как будто мы залезли ему в карман, Шри-Ланка не вызвала у нас какого то восторга , но побывать на ней хотелось , больше туда ни ногой

My wife and I spent 5 nights at the Shinagawa, capping a 10-day tour around Sri Lanka. We were somewhat spoiled by stays at a series of 5-star hotels, but nonetheless enjoyed our time at the beach. All rooms have a beautiful, unobstructed view of the beach and ocean. The rooms are comfortable and management told us that the lighting system, would soon be improved. The all-sand beach is several kilometers long and ideal for walks, swims and watching fishermen land their catches. The food, while necessarily limited in variety (only 24 rooms), was good and the cocktails excellent. The on-site massages were fantastic and the staff very friendly and attentive. Management, both general and F&B, was very interested in our well-being and open to suggestions for improvement.
