Please DON’T book this hotel!!!! Overbooking is their usual practice. (You can check the reviews with one star on google)
We have made the reservation 2months ago but the hotel said they couldn’t find my booking when I wanted to book airport transfer service. I contacted the booking agency and they confirmed me again with a hotel confirmation number but the hotel never replied me. I thought it would be fine because the agent double confirmed already. When we arrived Baku at midnight, the hotel said they didn’t have my booking and sent me to another hotel with poor quality and far away from the city centre. They said they received my reservation but they never confirmed me and said I should have a “confirmation letter” issued by them if booking is confirmed. After investigation, the booking agent said its because the hotel was overbooked. The hotel confirmation number was given by the hotel so their reply to me was ridiculous. It’s a very bad hotel indeed. Scamming travellers!!!

Nice hotel, stayed for one night, located near the fountain square and the Old Town. There is a shop in the same house.
The room was not very big, ok for one night. The bathroom is spacious, but somehow outdated, in fact, like the style of the room, I would like something more fashionable or something. Breakfast is good, there is plenty to choose from.
It's a little strange that not all the staff at the hotel speak Russian, although the whole city speaks it.

Central hotel excellent location. The owner was very helpful with finding a tailormade solution for our needs, booking and information through phone and whatsapp, Helpful staff on reception. I confirm that the reception hall is tiny and small but as tourist for me the room was more important. Breakfast is on average but is alligned with the hotel cost. Room was normal but was clean and air conditioned so if you are looking for a luxurious hotel is not your place but if you are looking for a central hotel to sleep tight and spend your day for business or tourism it is a well place. 24h supermarket close to the hotel. As a group of 20 people from Dubai, we arrived this hotel on Mar 29th.To our horror, the Reception is not even 4 sqM, we were first asked to rate this hotel in Google as 5 star to get rooms. Thus is how they have good ratings. Worst breakfast ever. Very rude staff in both restaurant and reception. Advise not to book with these *****.

Not Recommended at all. Very Rude staff, zero hospitality .Tiny rooms no balcony as shown in pictures . View is adjacent walls of other building . No room service. Staff can't understand or speak english . No one responds for room services Please don't waste money .

Отличный отель! А негативное отзывы я считаю связанны только с неправильным бронированием, так как Букинг и Островок вам откажут если у вас нет карты иностранного банка (Юнион пей тоже сюда относится) оплата не пройдет соответственно бронь аннулируется (проверено мной тоже) Поэтому если нет карты выход бронировать через Тур операторов, так я и сделала еще в феврале так как знала, что на формулу 1 цены вырастут. Расположение великолепное, 5 минут до площади фонтанов множество ресторанов 10 минут до старого города, банкоматы и обменник 5-10 минут, номера отличные у нас был deluxe, воду пополняли ежедневно, также меняли полотенца и убирали мусор, удивила скорость работников, пока были на завтраке пришли в номер там все чисто и вкусный аромат , девочки просто пчёлкиЗавтраки просто восторг красная и черная икра каждый день, я такого еще не видела нигде, яичница, омлет, рис, шакшука, сосиски все вкусно, еды всегда хватает во сколько бы не пришли, фрукты местные просто невероятные! Неожиданным бонусом было бесплатное продление номера до 16:00 в день отъезда! Спасибо большое, обязательно вернемся ❤️

The receptionist is absolutely rude and unprofessional. He canceled our booking without our confirmation and ignored our calls and messages. He demanded a cash payment and said, “If you want to stay, stay; otherwise, leave." We also requested to speak with the manager but the receptionist did not allow us to. Unless you're looking for an overpriced room with a side of frustration, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. There are other hotels in the area that can offer a much better experience with professional staff and comfortable accommodations.

Don’t book this hotel 💀Overbooking is their usual practice (you can check the recent views on google). I seeked help from my booking agency before the trip because the hotel said they didn’t have my booking when I wanted to book airport transfer service. Then the hotel sent a confirmation number to my agency again. When we arrived, they said they never confirmed my booking. I have to move to another hotel at midnight, after over 10hours flight. 💀Just wanna share my own experience with you all 😢
