Nice and clean room, comfy bed, tasty breakfast, very helpful staff. It is close to the main attractions so you can walk around. Also the nearby metro can be a plus point if you want to go around other parts of the city. A great family friendly place for stay.

Me and my family were booked into this hotel by Baku Tour Packages, and it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed in during our trip. The entrance leads directly to the reception via an elevator, making it convenient to transport our luggage without struggling with stairs, as is common in many hotels. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional, and they spoke English fluently. Our room was stunning, offering a beautiful view of the park. The bathroom was spotless, well-equipped with toiletries, and the plush bed with fluffy pillows and soft bedsheets ensured a restful sleep. The smart TV allowed us to seamlessly connect to our Netflix account, thanks to the excellent Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Additionally, the hotel features a charming Grand Lounge that serves authentic Azerbaijani cuisine alongside other delectable dishes. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the hotel's budget-friendly rates and its prime location, just a short walk from Nizami Street.

This hotel is located relatively central in the city, opposite a beautiful park/promenade, and in close proximity to the main cultural attractions and restaurant areas. Hotel staff are kind and professional, although a little slow, and be aware you need to negotiate prices for the Hotel Taxi Service. Although this is something l expect as a foreigner in a country like Azerbaijan, I do not find this professional or acceptable when staying at a COP29 affiliated hotel, or a hotel for that matter. Language barrier is sometimes a problem also, although this is not unique. Hotel rooms were well serviced and dry cleaning was complete in less than 24 hours which was great, especially when on business. Staff have a room apparently on Level One which the door is always kept open, so noise is sometimes present, although not distracting. The hotel hits all the marks you expect a hotel to reach but does not excel in any one dimension. Overall was a pleasant experience, please note there are better options for the price.

Generally, I liked the hotel. It is located inside an old historic building. Obviously, some parts of the hotel are outdated and need to be remodeled. For example, the elevators were old, scratched up, super slow, and very tiny. But overall, the hotel looked good and was very clean throughout my entire stay. I liked the lobby’s design a lot - it was nice to hang out there on the comfortable sofas for a while a couple of times. One of the biggest minuses of my stay was the unfriendly and weird front desk staff, who never smiled at me even once. Why did I use the word “weird”? There were two guys there who seemed absolutely normal from afar, doing their work, but every single time I went to ask them something, they made faces like they were scared of me, as if I were a ghost. Plus, they both took a few seconds before answering me. Those moments of silence were bizarre! Luckily, my check-in was fast and easy. My Standard Double Room (#207) was very big. Even though its design was pretty basic, I felt comfortable in it. The room was clean. Most of the furniture in my room was in good condition, but some pieces were obviously old, scratched, and outdated, and they need to be replaced. I loved having two big windows, which let in a lot of natural daylight. It was also possible to open the windows for fresh air, which I appreciated. The only problem was that my room was on the second floor, facing a small square where local people liked to hang out every night - sometimes until very late. When I opened the windows before going to sleep, I could hear a lot of noise from the square. The guys were extremely noisy, playing games like chess, drinking, and even screaming at times. These noises often lasted until 3:30-4:00 a.m. and occasionally woke me up. With the windows closed, I heard minimal noise, but still some. Also, my room wasn’t very soundproof from the inside - I could hear many noises from the hallway. The hotel provided a few free bottles of water, which was a nice touch. I liked having two beds in my room: a King-size and a Twin-size. Both mattresses were comfortable, but I didn’t like the pillows - they were very hard, and I woke up with neck pain every morning. The air conditioners in my room were under the windows, but they were very old and dirty. They didn’t work well, and the air from them smelled bad, which was one of the reasons I opened the windows every night to enjoy fresh air. The part of the room I really liked was the bathroom. It was built with beautiful marble, including a lovely marble sink. The bathroom was pretty big and had a large shower stall. The bathroom amenities were of good quality and had a pleasant smell. A big minus was the Wi-Fi, which wasn’t very fast - my roaming phone data was much faster. One morning, I tried breakfast, and I enjoyed it. There wasn’t a large selection of food, but everything provided was fresh and tasty, especially the vegetables. The hotel also has an outdoor veranda with tables where you can

A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Firstly, a great location, from where you can get to all the sights. Secondly, it is clean, beautiful, neat. And the most wonderful thing is the customer focus of the staff! At the reception they will definitely solve any of your questions, they will always meet you halfway! The staff speaks several languages, very polite and efficient! Special thanks for such attentive attitude to themselves! The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are spacious, brushes, shampoos, robes, ironing board are provided upon request! Thanks again for a comfortable stay at the hotel!
