Altus Hotel

Horrible hotel. Just horrible!   I don't even know where to start, I'll just say this: this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.   It says that it's supposedly 5 stars, we arrived and at the entrance it already says 2, although here on the website it's supposedly 5.   But this is not important, the worst thing started later:   Room:  I've never had such a terrible view from the window either (photo below), you just open the window and 30 cm away from you there's a blank wall from another hotel. That is, there's simply never any sun!   The room and the hotel are terribly tired! Everything is very old: the sheets are all old, I'm not even talking about the soundproofing, you can hear everything that's happening in the neighboring rooms. (In a couple of them, girls of the wrong kind came in and the sounds were just throughout the entire corridor).   All the furniture is old, the rooms smell terrible from smoking.    Cleaning: They cleaned, but always with screw-ups: one day they wouldn't put towels, another day they would put towels, they wouldn't put water, etc., we were then glad that at least they were just in the room and doing something (you also had to constantly ask the cleaning staff). Breakfasts: Disgusting. If you arrive at 9 am (breakfast starts at 8), then there will be little on the table, they throw all the dishes and put them down with their hands... we even found it funny to see such an attitude, at first we were angry, then it just became funny))  The selection of breakfasts is very meager, but you can eat so as not to be hungry in principle.  Reception: No questions for them, they were always at their place, they solved all the problems, smiling. Location: The location is also good in principle, you can get to the center quickly, the bus stop is nearby, there are restaurants nearby. Contingent:  The hotel's contingent is Indians and Pakistanis. That is, it is always noisy! At night they do not sleep and you can hear everything they do + again I will repeat about soundproofing. Result: I am not a picky tourist and would simply not pay attention to all sorts of little things.   For the sake of a review:  "they did not put coffee" or "they did not give a towel on the 3rd day" I would definitely not write a bad one. But here ...  This is just a horror, not a hotel, everything needs to be changed there! Do not fall for the star rating that is written here, it is not true!   I will never recommend this hotel to my friends, relatives who want to go to Baku, because it is truly awful! (without any nitpicking, only obvious things).  (The photo shows the view from the window and the condition of the doors that were in the room).
