Very wonderful hotel staff. Clean and newly renovated rooms that were very comfortable to stay in. All in all a great stay and will definitely be staying here again if we return.

Extremely well placed family run hotel within walking distance of town centre. Room allocated was on second floor with views over park bowling green and cricket pitch. Very comfortable and well appointed and maintained. Restaurant and bar service was excellent and friendly.

This is a wonderful traditional beautiful hotel . In this day and age customer Service is often not what it should be, not so here. Everyone from the lovely lady on reception to the waitresses in the breakfast room, all looked after us really well. Our room was lovely, a decent size , comfy bed and cool! Very important as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave . Breakfast was amazing , Derbyshire oat cakes with bacon and cheese cooked to perfection. I recommend the Lee Wood wholeheartedly

I enjoyed my stay at the Lee Wood Hotel. My room was small with no view, but it was comfortable. I loved the open dining room. Breakfast was good. We also ate two dinners at the hotel. The menu wasn't extensive and I ordered the wrong thing on the first night, but had a good selection on the second night. The front desk was very friendly. The one drawback to the hotel was the parking. There were a couple of good spots in front and some very narrow, tight spots in the back. There was not enough parking for all of the guests when we were there and I was afraid we were going to have to leave our car on the street below. There was really nothing interesting within a short walking distance, so for those that like to get out into the town and look around, this may not be the best choice. We didn't need that, so it worked out well for us.

Best hotel in Buxton. Palace is shabby ,buxton crescent overpriced and not well organised. Old hall no parking Staff so genuinely friendly and helpful. Rooms brilliant although we were ungraded Breakfast freshly cooked and faultless. Served with hot plates which means they care.

Group booking. Most efficient check-in ever. Lovely comfortable rooms, exceptionally clean. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Good food in a superb dining room. We all agreed we would use it whenever we are in the area.
