We stayed here the first night of our Camino. You can walk directly from the hotel onto the beach behind it, and from there you can swim in the bay. The cool water felt amazing on tired legs. This hotel appeared to be a step up from other properties nearby. We had the wider size twin beds in our twin share room and the rooms have enough space to spread out a bit. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but the breakfast was fantastic and the hotel had a lovely level of service.

Terrible hotel, filthy, stained walls and horrible furnishings. We stayed here on our Camino it was not relaxing. Really uncomfortable beds and poor facilities. Breakfast is basic and food is a poor standard. Would not recommend to any camino traveler.

pics look great but place is very rundown and furnishings are old and dirty good location would really not have stayed there if I had seen the place first staff is very nice and accommodating though restaurant and bar area dingy restaurant only open 8pm to 10pm

Vriendelijk dame achter de receptie, aardige bediening. Hotel ziet er aan de buitenkant niet slecht uit. Eenmaal binnen overviel mij het gevoel van Spanje uit de jaren 80. Kamer met zicht over zee erg ruim, 2 grote eenpersoons bedden, oud meubilair en kleedjes naast het bed. De bedden zijn aan vervanging toe. De muren aan een kwast met witte verf. Airco recent vernieuwd en die was nog te koud voor de tijd van het jaar. Raam open en frisse zeewind was prima. Grote badkamer met grote douche. Het valt op dat het geheel vooral erg schoon is. Internet van prima kwaliteit maar in de kamer verlies je de verbinding. Wij waren hier met een tour. Dinner was gezamenlijk. Grote bak met salade vooraf, varkensfilet met koude gegrituurde aardappels en wat champignons. Stukje gebak als toetje. Ik was niet onder de indruk. Ik denk dat het tegenwoordig lastig is om iedereen zomaar varkensvlees voor te zetten. Wij eten het niet omdat we het niet lekker vinden maar er kunnen ook religieuze reden zijn. Het meeste vlees bleef dan ook op de borden achter. Een stukje kip was een meer veilige keuze geweest. Het ontbijt is matig maar vers.

A hotel from a few years ago and in need of renovation of the rooms and especially the outdated bathroom. The room was clean. The views in front of the bay are good. Friendly staff. They don't have dining room service, but they told me a couple of options.

We spent two nights here (giving ourselves a rest day) while cycling the Portuguese Camino. The hotel, like us, when we arrived, is a little worn...but our rooms were clean, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the location absolutely perfect. I would stay here again.
