We had a wonderful 4n stay thanks to an attentive and truly welcoming staff. The half-board food and drink was delicious, and a lunch in the Restaurant Bareiss a memorable feast for the senses. Meticulously kept hotel and grounds. We loved strolling around in the park, and hand feeding the deers in the Wildgehege. Hot weather and no aircon affected sleep quality - table fan and cross ventilation surely helped, provided good earplugs to block out the early morning churchbells.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen in der Woche nach Ostern zu Gast! Das Hotel Bareiss ist ein familiengeführtes Hotel, in dem der Gast noch König ist! Hier kann man sich nur wohlfühlen, es ist an alles gedacht. Für Kinder gibt es vielseitige Betreuung und sogar Häuser, in denen gespielt werden kann. Natürlich auch mit Betreuung! Die Poollandschaft mit beheiztem Außen- und Innenpool, sowie Whirlpool, ist großzügig und einzigartig! Zum Frühstück und Abendessen hat man immer einen festen Tisch, was sehr angenehm ist. Die Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Bareiss ist eine Institution, die uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden kann! Wir kommen gerne wieder und sagen ein herzliches Dankeschön!

Im Zuge einer Geschäftsreise hatte ich die Gelegenheit, einige Nächte im Hotel Bareiss zu verbringen – und ich muss sagen, es war eine Erfahrung, die Maßstäbe setzt. Vom ersten Moment an spürt man die außergewöhnliche Herzlichkeit des gesamten Teams. Selten habe ich eine derart authentische Freundlichkeit und professionelle Gastlichkeit erlebt. Das kulinarische Angebot ist schlichtweg herausragend. Ob Frühstück, Jause am Nachmittag oder Fine Dining von Herrn Lumpp am Abend – jeder Gang ist eine Hommage an die hohe Kunst der Großzügigkeit. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die spürbare Handschrift der Familie Bareiss, die mit Leidenschaft und Hingabe dafür sorgt, dass sich jeder Gast wie zu Hause fühlt. Ein Aufenthalt im Bareiss ist mehr als nur eine Hotelübernachtung – es ist ein Erlebnis, das in Erinnerung bleibt. Wer einmal hier war, versteht, warum dieses Haus einen so exzellenten Ruf genießt. Über dieses legendäre Wellnessresort sind völlig zurecht schon unzählige Loblieder gesungen worden. Seit Jahrzehnten treibt man hier die Gastgeberkunst (mit besonderem Blick auf die herausragende Kulinarik) immer wieder aufs Neue zur Perfektion. Nur eines erschließt sich mir nicht: Das Bareiss ist ein absoluter Gourmet-Tempel und selbst in kleinsten Details sagenhafte Spitzenklasse! Nur schafft man es (noch) nicht, den Freunden eines hochwertigen Espressos bzw. Cappuccinos gerecht zu werden. Für die "alte" Stammgastgeneration 70+ vielleicht noch weniger von Bedeutung, lieben wir (als End-Dreißiger) einfach guten „Caffè“ aus der Siebträgermaschine. Leider muss man im Bareiss - ob am Pool, zum (ansonsten unerreichten) Frühstücksbüfett oder nachmittags im Hotelgastbereich - mit B-Ware aus dem Vollautomaten vorlieb nehmen. Es bleibt aber zu hoffen, dass man diesen einzigen Punkt zukünftig noch dem sonstigen Top-Niveau anpassen wird!
