Amanvana Spa Resort, Coorg

Had a great experience at Amanvana Resort, Coorg. The resort is beautifully located by the Kaveri river, with calm surroundings and greenery all around. The private bungalows are spacious, neat and give you complete privacy ideal for a relaxing holiday. One of the highlights of our stay was Naveen, the resort’s naturalist. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about nature. He explained so many interesting things and the ecosystem. The nature walk with him was one of the best parts of the trip . simple, informative and enjoyable. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. If you’re looking for a peaceful break with a touch of nature, Amanvana is a great choice. Perfect for couples, families or anyone who wants to just relax and breathe fresh air.

Dear Hotel Manager We checked in on 26th July 2025 at 3:00 PM and stayed in Room No. 104. While the overall stay was comfortable and your resort's ambiance was excellent, we would like to bring a few concerns to your attention that impacted our experience. These were also conveyed to your front office team, Ms. Dina and Mr. Chetan, during our stay. Issues Observed: Driver Accommodation Delay :- Upon arrival, we faced a delay of around 45 minutes in arranging accommodation for our driver, which was not expected. Miscommunication on Driver Stay & Charges: - While booking online, we had clearly communicated with your front office about our driver’s accommodation. We were assured that stay would be complimentary and meals would be charged at Rs. 350/- per day. However, at the time of check-in, your front desk insisted on charging for the stay as well. This matter had been discussed multiple times prior to our arrival, and it was disappointing to see that there was no proper record or coordination, leading to an uncomfortable situation. Paddle Fan Issue in Room:: - The fan in our room was very noisy and had no speed control. It ran loudly for about three hours (10:00 PM to 1:00 AM) and then stopped abruptly with a loud noise, forcing us to get up and switch it off manually. This affected our sleep and was not up to the expected standards. While we truly appreciated the property and enjoyed the serene environment, we felt that the check-in experience and in-room maintenance could be improved significantly, especially considering the price point and reputation of your resort. We are planning another visit around October–November 2025, and sincerely hope that these concerns will be addressed by then to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience. An absolute paradise by the river! We stayed at Amanvana for a short getaway, and it was truly magical. The private bungalows, lush greenery, and the serene river running through the property make it feel like you’re in your own little world. Highly recommend for anyone visiting coorg. Bird watching experience was amazing and our guide, Naveen, made it memorable.

Very warm welcome by resort staff and rooms were ready by the time we went there. Rooms and ambience are very good. Its luxury with in nature. one of the day we did Coffee plantation tour and bird watching and it was very good experience and naturalist Naveen was very detailed and through on explaining things. Food was really good. Staff was always helpful for any kind query or issue. our two days stay was very pleasant.

Overall a very good experience. Clean room, nice and green property on Cauvery's bank, excellent food. All staff members were very friendly, always with a smile, willing to help always - the house keeping in-charge, security supervisor, the naturalist, all of them. Naveen, the naturalist was quite knowledgeable and made the natural walk and plantation visit an enjoyable experience.

The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature, it offered the perfect escape from the chaos of city life. A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Naveen, the Naturalist, who made our experience even more memorable. His guided tour through the coffee estate was insightful and engaging. He patiently explained the various plant species, pointed out rare birds, and shared fascinating facts about the ecosystem. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the natural world.
