This hostel is ideally situated, on an empty beach an hour's walk from gorgeous Utría nature park. The Orbe family have accomplished brilliant conservation work, transforming the mindset of tourists on sea turtles as well as that of their own local community. On top of the warm welcome, each member of the family has precious and unique knowledge to share. I highly recommend the walking tour to the nature park, for an additional fee, where I learned about native plants and how the local afro-indigenous community is working to protect the land. From the Bahía Solano airport you can take a tuktuk to El Valle, and be picked up there on a motorcycle. Simply be aware that the farm is situated in a beautiful remote location, therefore trips into town must adapt to the tide, and you will want to either stock up on food, or purchase meals at the farm.

Hola, Hace poco estuve en Mamá Orbe y, aunque el lugar tiene aspectos positivos como la comida deliciosa y la comodidad de la cabaña, la atención al cliente fue pésima. El trato que recibimos, tanto de Mamá Orbe como de su grupo de trabajo, fue desagradable y poco amable. Cada vez que pedíamos algo, las respuestas eran cortantes y los gestos, hirientes, haciéndonos sentir incómodos por preguntar. Además, la falta de información y la mala comunicación sobre las actividades fue frustrante. Sería muy útil mejorar el trato hacia los visitantes y brindar información clara y oportuna.

Increíble los malos modos, no creo que nunca nos hayan atendido tan mal. La liberación de las tortugas muy linda, la que explicaba también, pero nos hicieron esperar más de una hora, y mientras no nos quisieron servir nada, y nos trataron muyyyy mal. Incómodo, medio abandonado el sitio... No lo recomiendo

Nos alojamos una noche, lo que indica en redes nada que ver, la señora no tiene nada de carisma. Mala atención, como si estuvieran regalando la comida, no son amables, ni saludan, no me gustó nada la atención, deberían hacer un curso de como atender a los clientes, solo malas caras. No hay ventiladores en las habitaciones, se pasa mucho calor No volvería por alli
