Sono stata da Pacheco a dicembre per 3 notti con il mio compagno a ridosso dell'ultimo dell'anno e la scelta è stata la più azzeccata che potessimo fare!Il bungalow è piccolo e modesto,ma pulito e assolutamente perfetto per trascorrere qualche giorno disponendo di tutto quello che può servire.Il punto forte è che si trova praticamente fronte mare e dormire con il rumore delle onde non ha prezzo.L'atmosfera è molto chill e rilassata,come in tutta la Costa Rica d'altronde.Con Erik abbiamo organizzato anche l'escursione al Corcovado che è stata assolutamente fantastica e che consiglio.Non credo dimenticherò mai i fuochi d'artificio sull'oceano sdraiata sull'amaca della nostra cabina.Pura Vida!!!

We chose to stay here because of our visit to Corcovado national park. Eric the owner was waiting for us at the beach when we arrived by boat from Sierpe. The room is basic, good bed, nice balcony and decent size bathroom. Water pressure is good, temperature not so warm but that did not matter with the heat.. You can walk easily to various restaurants and next door you can grab a simple but good breakfast from the food truck from 5 am onwards. Eric also booked our tour and he can assist you with various tours and recommendations. Overall a pleasant stay. The rooms could do with some TLC and the airconditioner was a bit noisy. The view is fantastic and the birds wake you up in the morning. Do recommend since it is good value and great location. Gracias Eric!

I both stayed at Pacheco Cabins and booked all but one of my tours through them. The room where I stayed had an unbeatable view and was comfortable, with a/c that I very much appreciated. Banu the French Bulldog was a treat to have around, and Erick is a wonderful host. I am so glad that I booked all of my tours through Pacheco - the guide on my overnight Sirena Station trip, Steven, was incredibly knowledgeable. The other guides we saw would frequently stop Steven to ask him questions. The guide on the Night Tour that Erick booked for me, Albert, was exemplary. I saw more by far on his Night Tour than I did on the other very widely booked one in Drake Bay - I think that the fact that Albert's tour follows the river and ends up at his family's farm is key. Unbelievable variety of flora and fauna. The Floating Tour with Carlos was an unforgettable experience. I can't recommend Pacheco Cabins and Tours enough, it's exactly what you would want for a home base to explore the region.

Drake Bay alone is such a gem, but Pacheco cabins really made the trip! We had the most beautiful view of the water, everything was clean and most importantly the AC was amazing after a day in the humidity! Eric was so friendly and helpful from picking us up from the boat, helping us get to the tours we booked with them and recommendations (be sure to take the hike up the coast!!). The dog was also such a highlight to greet you in the morning and evening! Can’t recommend Pacheco Cabins enough!

Très belle chambre, spacieuse, propre, confortable et bien équipée. Le balcon et la vue sont époustouflantes, un paradis ! Érick est un hôte très accueillant, gentil, souriant et disponible. Nous le remercions pour son accueil ainsi que son petit Baloo !

Petit hôtel avec une vue splendide sur la baie de Drake. Bruit des vagues pour s’endormir :) le paradis. Nous sommes passé par Erick pour les sorties, très bien organisé et de confiance. On recommande vivement la sortie à cheval surtout avec des enfants.

The best thing about the cabin is the balcony! We did tours in the morning (would very much recommend the Floating Tour with Carlos - we learned so much on the hike through the primary rainforest, and floating through the rapids was one hell of an adventure. Just be prepared for a few bruises!) and in the afternoons we spent time reading on the balcony, watching the sea and the wildlife. I have seen more wildlife on this little balcony than I have in 3 weeks in Costa Rica! Tukans, Parrots, Iguanas, Monkeys, Butterflies, Hummingbirds, and a whole range of beautiful, colourful birds as well as glow worms. It was quite enchanting and cozy up there, especially later on during a thunderstorm. The cabins are basic but the beds are comfy, you have AC and a fridge - what more could you want? It's excellent value. Erick went above and beyond to organise things for us, and his little pug dog is the cutest! We had the BEST stay in Drake despite bad weather :)

Ubicación. Cerca de la playa, supermercado y restaurantes. Baño y cama limpio. Vistas desde la terraza espectaculares. Eric te ayuda en lo que necesites: organizan tours, reserva en el bote a Sierpe. El resto de la habitación podría mejorar. No tiene desayuno. Sitio privilegiado que podría mejorar hasta conseguir la excelencia.
