Rancho Pacifico - Boutique Hotel for Adults

Rancho Pacifico spoiled me, and I don’t know how another hotel can compare. The staff, accommodations and food were 10/10. The place is also very clean! If you’re looking for a luxury experience but also in the heart of nature I think you’d love it. I would definitely go back.

This was my second time staying at Rancho Pacifico. The first time I went solo and had another 5 star experience. This time I brought my family because I felt like it was the perfect location for a quiet refuge that would be accommodating for my parents who are a bit older and need a bit more attention and support. The Rancho Pacifico staff once again went above and beyond to make our stay beyond imaginable. The meals are 5 star-- unique each day, optimized for health and tailed to your needs (we had 1 Gluten Free guest with us who never went without). We stayed in the Whales Tail Villa (3 bedrooms) and it really is stunning. It's a tad higher up the mountain that the main building with a spectacular view that meets the clouds with the perfect angle for observing the Whale Tail Beach. It's perched up in the mountains and immersed in nature. It has a dip pool and ample space. Each level has its own bedroom so even with my family, we felt we each had our own section of the home. I really leaned on the RP staff for assistance organizing the stay this time. The RP staff helped me book an ATV for a few days that they had dropped off and picked up from the hotel. They also booked tours and experiences for us that included horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, beach trips, massages and more. Everything in a payment perspective was managed inside my RP account and I payed at the end of my stay. The Concierge team was my main point of contact in organizing the entire week and really simplified and managed the trip in its entirety which I initially thought was going to be very intensive to coordinate schedules. I cannot say enough positive things about this resort. It is private, its discrete, its a hideaway, its a refuge, it really is a sanctuary but also a place that you can have celebration whether that be with your family, a loved one, a honeymoon or a solo expedition. Rancho Pacifico is the must-stay destination in the Uvita area. There is not anything else like it.

The villa we stayed in at Rancho Pacifico was a setting I’ll remember forever. Watching the rain pour down from our villa nestled deep in the rainforest felt like a dream, accompanied by nature’s perfect soundtrack. With its darker wood finishes and masculine earthy tones rancho Pacifico is the his to vista celestial hers. Both resorts are nestled in the hills of Costa Rica with breathtaking panoramic ocean views and a serene, secluded atmosphere. The resorts feature elegant villas, infinity pools, and luxury amenities. Each property features a private chef who prepares specialty crafted meals for guests. Each evening’s dinner is a delightful surprise, reminiscent of dining at someone’s home with their unique and carefully prepared specialties. The food at these properties is exceptional, and I’ll forever be craving all the unique flavors of Costa Rican cuisine.

My only complaint about Rancho Pacifico is that we had to leave it! From the second we arrived, every single staff member treated us like family, going above and beyond to quickly get us anything we needed or wanted. Lots of personal touches to celebrate that we were on our honeymoon! They were so helpful in arranging our excursions. The facilities are clean and the surroundings gorgeous. The trails on property are really nice - we even saw monkeys! There’s a ton of really beautiful wildlife on property; we especially loved watching the toucans. But very minimal bugs in the resort, even in the middle of the jungle! The hot tub is the perfect temperature, the massage I had at the spa was the best I’ve ever had. And can we talk about the food and drinks?! Fresh, creative, delicious, always made to order, and very generous portions. Only a 10 minute drive down the mountain to explore Uvita. I HIGHLY recommend Rancho Pacífico for your Costa Rica getaway!

The best word to describe Rancho Pacifico is paradise. My husband and I went here for our honeymoon and it was truly a magical and wonderful experience. Everyone at this resort was very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Our two favorite things at the resort were the staff and the food. The staff handled booking everything for us so we did not have that stress to handle. They also had a positive and friendly attitude. We felt very welcomed here. The food was incredible every single day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious. The staff is very accommodating if you have any restrictions for food. The food is also organic and fresh so you will not be disappointed. Asides from doing excursions, the spa and yoga sessions at the resort were very relaxing. If you are deciding whether to choose Rancho Pacifico or another resort, this is your sign to go with Rancho Pacifico.

Rancho Pacifico, like its sister property Vista Celestial, is a little slice of paradise in the mountains of Costa Rica. The staff is superb and the property is stunning, which makes for a uniquely wonderful stay. Can’t recommend this place enough.
