Nothing works. The refrigerator was broken and the AC didn’t work. The hot water took 15 minutes to warm up. It was noisy. They do not serve cocktails in the bar. They do not have chilled white wine by the glass. Few of the staff understand English. The food that is served is not as described on the menu. I would not stay here again.

The Staff is very courteous, restaurant is good and roof top bar offers an excellent view of lake Tana. The hotel is past its prime days. The infrastructure is good but maintenance is poor. Curtains are falling, taps are leaking, no hot water, locker not working, etc, etc. Not worth its rent.

I stay at NAKY 90% of the time when I go to Bahirdar. Most of all, I like the shower. Plenty of water hot/cold and the beds are nice. Breakfast need to be improved specially for foreigners. I am warmly welcomes by the front desk with respect and gracious smile.
