R Bed and Breakfast

I recently stayed at R Bed and Breakfast in Baguio City for 2 nights, booking through Trip.com, which was super easy and convenient. The prices are quite affordable, especially considering its prime location near tourist attractions and in the town proper. It's easy to find, right along the road, with ample parking space. Upon arrival, the room was impressively spacious and tidy. (What you see is what you get based on their posted pictures.) However, there was a slight sewer smell from the toilet that could be improved. Nonetheless, the overall vibe felt cozy and homelike. While the breakfast options were limited, they served delicious Filipino breakfast dishes, which suited our short stay perfectly. The staff throughout, from the restaurant to security and reception, were incredibly accommodating. They patiently attended to our requests and even helped us book a tour in the area. I highly recommend R Bed and Breakfast for family trips, given its convenience, affordability, and welcoming atmosphere.

The room is clean and very cozy. It has TV, AC and Hot shower. They are pet friendly. Location wise, Session road is a walking distance. Some bars are also walking distance. Breakfast is included and it was okay. Our only concern is the wooden floors and walls. As a group, since we have a lot to talk about, wooden floors and walls may not be for us. But it is great for couples, quiet families. But overall, it was great. I will definitely be back with my furbaby.

I was quite surprised that this is just along the hiway. We only took a jeepney and it has a lot of restaurants, other services near the place as its 5 min walk to session road and SM. The lobby was clean and the place is a old house facade but modern in the inside and the staff were friendly. They had Filipino and American breakfast and a good menu option for lunch. We both chose kare2 and I liked their meatball pasta. Not the typical tomato sauce. From the taste it is peeled tomatos. The only thing that I was surprised of was the room given to us since it was just almost right in front of the front desk. It's good because I can easily go to the lobby. Good thing that the Wi-Fi is strong enough to access my accounts. I only chose the Standard room because it was just the 2 of us and it was just a quick stay. The room itself was clean, the shower and faucet's heater were both working fine but no complimentary toothbrush and thootpaste. Restaurant is amazing and has a garden. The TV is Android with Netflix but you put your account but has a cable too. I can say that we had a good stay. Cleanliness and customer service are still two of my priorities when it comes to staycations. Thank you see you again soon.

Will keep a detailed and precise review based on our 10 days/ 9 nights stay here. PROS: ✅ Great staff - unquestionably professional, friendly, approachable and accommodating. They made our stay convenient. Kudos!!! ✅ Restaurant - good value for money and they also serve alcohol; cozy ambiance inside the restau and I also love the garden area (though the toilet has foul smell and noticeable in nearby dining table, it has to be addressed) ✅ Accessible - walking distance to Baguio Cathedral, Session road, Pink Sisters and SM Baguio. Easy to get a cab, there are nearby restaurants and bars. There's also a nearby laundry, we appreciated it actually 😊 ✅ Safety and Security - There are CCTVs all over the place. Security Guard is available at night. ✅ Water Availability - there's water dispenser outside our room (Sage), it's very convenient! ✅ Breakfast - Both Filipino dish and Continental breakfast are being served. It also comes with juice or coffee. ✅ Good quality of linens, spacious (Sage room), availability of AC and shower heater CONS: ⭕ Pet fee is QUITE costly - they charge 500 per day, I'm grateful for the discounted rate. It's adviseable for 2-3 days stay but for long stay, might consider other hotels. ⭕ Value for money - expensive ⭕ The noise from other rooms are quite disturbing. May I suggest that guests have to be briefed about House Rules. ⭕ You have to bring your own toiletries - they provided top to toe liquid. If you prefer to have separate shampoo, conditioner and soap, you've got to bring your own. No slippers too 😉 ⭕ Low water pressure (Shower) - at noon time, it's difficult to bathe due to low water pressure. I had to ask my sister to go to Front office to report it since I can no longer go out of the T&B.
