Lovely, old-fashioned hotel in a great location. About 10 mins walk from the train station. We arrived early and the reception kindly made us a drink and even upgraded us to 2 rooms with seaview, which really made our stay. All of the reception staff were lovely.The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a little fridge.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. This has a sea view. The food was quite good, esp the seafood platter one of us chose. The breakfast is also very good, with a wide choice of items. (No English breakfast teabags,though.)
Would stay there again without hesitation if we went back to Bagnara Calabra.

The room is a bit cold. It's equivalent to 2 stars in China.
The single bed is very narrow and the breakfast is simple. There don’t seem to be many tourists in this small town.
Basement parking is 7 euros. It's very small and a sedan shouldn't be able to get in.

We had an amazing stay at Grand Hotel Victoria. The front desk staff are welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area, always eager to help with anything we needed. The rooms are spotless and spacious with a large balcony offering stunning, uninterrupted ocean views which is a highlight. The food was superb, offering a delicious taste of local flavors. Breakfast buffet is generous with a choice of hot and cold dishes. Cakes are made in house and the cornetti are definitely the best I’ve had throughout Italy. The beach is without a doubt one of the most beautiful in southern Italy, crystal clear water without the crowds. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended staying at the hotel particularly if you wish to explore other areas of the south, easy access by train or car. Sunsets in Bagnara are spectacular.

This is the second time we have had the opportunity to be on holiday at the Grand Hotel Victoria. Excellent position along the coast, amazing and helpful staff, clean, sea-view, private parking and the variety of the breakfast has no par. Close to the train station, which allows you reach easily Scilla, Tropea and Reggio. Excellent peaceful stay among some unique and always available human beings!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per un breve periodo di vacanza (quattro giorni). L'esperiena è stata semplicemente fantastica. L'albergo è gestito da personale cortese e disponibile, dotato di tutti i servizi e con una splendida vista sullo stretto di Messina e sulle isola Eolie. La posizione è strategica, così come la cittadina di Bagnara Calabra che con un comodo spostamento in treno ci ha consentito di fare anche una meravigliosa visita al Museo di Reggio Calabria. La qualità del sonno è stata sublime. Siamo stati proprio bene, tanto che speriamo di tornarci prestissimo. Voto: un meritatissimo 10 e lode.

Mooi klassiek hotel en kamer. Entree van het hotel is te gedateerd. Prachtig zeezicht. Aardig personeel. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Je kunt er savonds erg goed eten Kamer is prima, maar soms schort het aan de finishing touch Bedden zijn prima. Douche is ook lekker ( harde straal) Parkeren kan voor 10 euro per dag
