The hotel, its location and rooms looked great in the internet. But once I reached Bagdogra, it was a togh job to locate it. It has a boad tucked in an alley. Its location is inside a small shopping complex cum apartment and that too behind it. The reception is in the third floor and one has to climb rickety stairs to reach there. Once at the reception, it looked a decent place. The receptionist who received me was a highly competent person named Akash Rai. The room was quite large and enough furniture for everything. The walls of the room looked old and ill maintained. The lighting was poor. The bath was tiny but effective. The overall impression was that I am in to a 'moth eaten' place. There was limited options when it came to food but the quality of food served was acceptable. On enquiries, I was told that the new management had just purchased it and plan to revamp the hotel. May be. If they do so, then it may become a habitable place. The prices looked too much even if the property is revamped not to speak of the current condition
