Weekend getaway was well deserved and accommodating. The resort was just charming and well tucked away in Costa Rica’s wealth of nature.

Hermoso alojamiento de montaña. Instalaciones cómodas. El personal de la recepción y restaurante excelente. Recomiendo el paseo por SANTA MARIA y LAS PAILAS que ofrece el Hotel. Es en el predio del Parque Nacional. Contraten a JOSE que es el guía. Es excelente. Sabe un montón y les va a llevar por lugares espectaculares. Cascadas, rios, aguas termales y barro volcánico. En LAS PAILAS pueden ver actividad volcánica y mucha fauna.

Go to this place only if you want to hike all day long and are not verh hungry - no showergel dispenser but a head&shoulders little packet - no filtered water while the small bottle costwd USD 4 - worst pasta I ever ate : spaghetti with tomatoes puree for outrageous price. The taco sause was overprocessed. All in all, very expensive food, highly processes with no alternatives around - no alternatives around. Village far with bad roads - a group of young travellers (20 folks) were laughing and shouting after 10pm by the pool bar , which was closed. Thats not the fault of fhe lodge however there was no night guard to tell them off. We slept so bad Concluding if you are not an experienced hiker who will be out all day, do not go there. This was the worst stop and experience of our beautiful trip.

Posto isolato e immerso nella natura a 20 minuti dall'ingresso del parco Rincon de la Vieja. Siamo stati benissimo, non tanta gente, a fine stagione. Camere confortevoli, patio con amaca e sedie a dondolo super rilassante. Uccelli e scimmie vicinissime. Ristorante con buona cucina e pressi nella media. Organizzano escursioni, cavalcate e zip line. Veramente un bel posto

Die Zimmer sind so hellhörig, dass man ALLES aus den anderen zommern hört. Der Empfangsbereich ist eine Baustelle - laut und staubig! Die Zufahrtsstraße ist eine Katastrophe! Der Pool ist soweit ok - wenn nicht gerade eine Grupoe Amerikanerinnen hereinstürmt und sich laut quer über den Pool unterhält.... Essen ist soweit ok - aber nicht gerade billig. Als Höhepunkt wollte man von uns $ 49 für ein Leintuch ( uns ist ein kleines Malheur passiert) Schade - leider nicht empfehlenswert.....

Zimmer sehr schön im Neubau. Aber....derartig hellhörig, dass ab 5 Uhr nicht mehr an Schlaf zu denken war. Ausserdem wollten sie von mir $ 50 für ein schmutziges Leintuch ^^ kassieren, echt strange. Im Restaurant war nur für Gruppen gedeckt, Einzelreisende mussten sich einen Platz suchen. Auf dem Weg zum Zimmer überquert man eine Schotterpiste, auf der ich mir meinen Koffer zerkratzt habe. Pool war schön, bis ein Reisebus mit amerikanischen Touristen diesen in Beschlag nahmen.

Schönes großes Zimmer, schönes Badezimmer, aber extrem hellhörig. Im Zimmer oberhalb wurde ab 5:30 Uhr gesprochen und herumgelaufen und da war an schlafen nicht mehr zu denken. Auch die Baustelle war laut und staubig. Im Restaurant war nur für Gruppen gedeckt, Individualreisende müssen sich Plätze suchen. Leider ging es mir nicht gut und mir ist im Bett ein Maleur passiert. Beim Auschecken wollte man $ 49,- für ein Leintuch haben.... sorry.....aber das kann es in so einem Hotel nicht sein!!!! Ich werde auch die Reiseagentur davon verständigen.

De rit naar de lodges is een belefenis opzich. Vriendelijk onthaal, met uitleg over de accomodatie. Ontbijt was in orde voor ieder wat wils. De kamer ok meer heb je niet nodig om te slapen, elke kamer is voorzien van een balkon met hangmat en stoelen. Voor de Belgische reizigers. Moest je het Nationaal park willen bezoeken breng dan zeker jullie bankkkaartlezer mee want je moet online reserveren. Wij zijn tot de conclusie gekomen dat itsme Niet werkt buiten europa. Zonder online reservatie kom je er niet in zelfs al kan je CASH betalen.
