Agutipaca Bungalows

Did not like location did not feel safe we where there about 3 hours as a family we made the decision to leave right away and lose our money in this place it’s in the middle of woods no guards rails

It’s a lovely place to stay. Angie is fantastic and the daily breakfast is a treat.

We just got back from 8 days throughout Costa Rica and Agutipaca Bungalows was our last stop. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay here longer. We had stayed at two other larger air bnb’s at the beggining of our trip, but these bungalows were our favourite. We truly felt like a welcomed guest on their well loved property. We were greeted and offered a nature walk by Angie. We saw more on this walk than we did with our paid guides. Her knowledge was amazing, and her excitement to share it with us was so genuine. We saw sloths, sleeping kinkajous, and toucans. The owners also showed us aspects of their property, the different fruit trees, flowers, and birds Our bungalow was immaculate. Plenty of room, and all necessary utensils. Loved the view and hammock. The bathroom and table had beautiful fresh flowers from the garden. They provided coffee, milk, and deliver a delicious fresh made breakfast (fresh juice, fruit, and a main) to your room. The grounds were beautiful, with trails along the river,, a garden, and a pool. The location was also perfect 1 hour of easy driving from airport, less than 30 min to Rio Celeste, and about an hour to the beach. Lots of services within 5 min drive (restaurants, grocery, shopping etc). It looks great I photos, but was even more beautiful in person.We are already planning our start next year!

Great place, would recommend Small B&B, you are welcome by the owners that will warmly make you feel at home. Big property in which you can have a walk and observe animal of you are lucky (sloths, birds). Well located, 10min drive from Bijagua and 30min from Tenorio ! Room was well furnished and comfortable, quality breakfast served in the room !

We were so happy with our stay! Everyone was so nice and our bungalow was very cute and clean. We felt very safe and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and we saw a lot of wildlife: toucans, parakeets, sloths and monkeys! We stayed 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. Our breakfasts delivered to our bungalow were wonderful too! We like to hike and there were a lot of great trails to explore in this area! Loved it!!
