Have stayed here several times and usually have a good experience, except for the breakfast arrangements at the beefeater next door. On this occasion, we arrived with relatives in their 80s to find the rooms that had been refurbished and only completed that day, had no electricity. There was only one person on the desk, and it was a busy day in mid Dec. The poor girl fried frantically to get the electric working in both rooms, for over an hour, eventually moving us to other rooms on another floor, but again, no electric. We we're beginning to give up hope. Already feeling low as we were attending a younger relatives' funeral the next day. But after 90 minutes, she finally succeeded by using 2 key cards in the lighting slot, giving us light. Needless to say we were all tired and weary. To her credit she offered a refund for the cost of breakfast to compensate, and on feeding our experience back to Premier Inn, they also discounted the cost of the rooms. So we were happy with that, and generally we would stay here again. Our only other gripe is with the arrangement for breakfast in the beefeater accross the carpark. Having booked full English breakfast, that is what you expect. But being asked on arrival have you paid or not is poor practice, and would expect the booking in and restaurant services to be linked, so that question becomes mute. Then to go through each item in the English breakfast menu to be asked how many of each item is required is really unacceptable. I do hope they seriously explore a better way to greet and serve their customers. Most hotels would usually just ask your room number, which tells them if you have paid for breakfast or not, and then serve you the item as listed on the menu.

Stayed a few weekends ago, room cleanliness was 10 out of 10, bed was lovely and comfortable and food at the restaurant was lovely, staff friendly, helpful and accomadating, no ask was too much, thank you, hope to return at some point in the future :)

Not a good stay, Bathroom not cleaned, hairs in bath and mess in toilet. Evening meal was also a disappointment with steak being burnt from the restaurant. Staff very friendly, hence generous 3 stars. However, as I have stayed at this hotel before, and not encountered any problem, I believe standards are dropping!

Stayed here for 1 night as we were on our way to Cornwall to see family, I must say it was the best premier inn we have ever stayed at , staff were very friendly, rooms were exceptionally clean especially the bathrooms and nothing was too much bother, We will definitely be staying in this one next time we travel down now that we have found this hidden gem .

Very comfortable bed and pillows but sadly the whole trip was ruined by the restaurant as went for a evening meal with my friend and in my eyes they were very under stuffed and when my food came out chips were cold asked for new ones and before they could even arrive I took a bite into my second chicken wing and found it was under cooked and still pink in the middle. They took my meal away to replace it with a new one which took around 30 minutes to come out by that time my friend had already finished his meal. I was very understanding about the situation and we stayed and had dessert and when it came to paying they still charged us full price when I think a little bit of a discount as a nice gesture would have gone a long way. We got back to our hotel and settled and for the night but sadly I only got about 4 hours sleep before I had to get up and head to the toilet being sick and a very bad stomach which I could only think was food poisoning from the little bit of under cooked chicken I had eaten. I will quite happily stay at the hotel again but sadly won’t be visiting the restaurant again.

This Premier Inn has upgraded rooms and a Beefeater so met our needs. All ok with friendly staff. Much better than the Longford Premier Inn which has no Beefeater Restaurant anymore. Great position with good parking and easy access to motorway and other main routes.

The bed was very comfortable, not going to lie, I did not want to leave! The tea and coffee facilities were great! The bathroom was clean and comfortable to use, the upkeep of the room was excellent. Friendly staff, very happy with my experience.

Nothing wrong with the room or service...But the WiFi is diabolical, including their ULTIMATE WIFI.... Paid 3 times once each day and got a refund...also the phone coverage in the hotel is as bad. Go outside all is well. I spoke to several members of staff and they agreed that it is very bad. If you need wifi services DONT STAY HERE.... The Breakfast staff in the restaurant on 2 of the 3 days were obviously not keen on early mornings. Both were rude to most of the customers including myself. I have written an email and have to wait 5 days for a response...
