Hotel Bischoff

Wir haben 2 Tage an Silvester in dem Hotel verbracht. Genau gesagt wir wollten, wir haben in der Silvester Nacht die Flucht ergriffen, da unsere Nachbarn die ganze Nacht ( beide Nächte) so einen Lärm machten das wir kein Auge zu bekamen. Beschweren geht eher schlecht da in dem Hotel niemand vor Ort ist. Die Rezeption befindet sich im Hotel Laterne. Das Hotel selbst ist eher alt, und ungemütlich, für 1 bis 2 Nächte geht es aber auch nur wegen der Lage im Ortskern. Wir hatten mit Frühstück, das ist einigermaßen okay. Nur die junge Frau die sich da ohne Lust, sie macht keinen Hehl daraus, um das Frühstück kümmert ist irgendwie fehl am Platz. Nein, das war nichts und wird auch nichts mehr.

Immer wieder gut für eine Übernachtung im Zentrum von Baden-Baden. Online Check-in kann man sich sparen. Vor Ort im Hotel Laterne (wo man den Zimmerschlüssel erhält) muss man trotzdem alles nochmals auf Papier ausfüllen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist fantastisch! Das Bett sieht besser aus, als es ist. Duschgel und Bodylotion vorhanden. Es gibt genügend Hand- und Badetücher und diese sind wirklich schön gross und flauschig. WLAN erhält man immer noch mit einem Papiercode. Frühstück war diesmal direkt im Hotel Bischoff. Gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis!

Big difficulty to understand (I don't speak German) that you have to look for the key to the room in another hotel, all in a pedestrian zone.....Right room with 1970s atmosphere but tiny bathroom. Practical because 1 minute from the baths. No more bread or pastries at 9 a.m. while breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

We chose this hotel based on reviews and location, but there was no one at reception when we arrived. The lady who finally came spoke neither German nor English - communication was difficult! We found a non-working fridge in the room, which was particularly annoying as we wanted to cool a bottle for my partner's birthday. There was only shower gel in the bathroom on the first day, the only trash can in the room was in the bathroom and was not emptied. The hotel also lacks air conditioning - although we received a fan upon request. The breakfast is inedible because the coffee doesn't taste good at all, the rolls have a strange aftertaste, and I only got eggs when asked after about 20 minutes. We had breakfast elsewhere on the following days, even though we had paid for it at the Hotel Bischoff. At her request, we agreed with the "housekeeper" that she would prepare our room at 2 p.m. We then adjusted our plans accordingly, but the room wasn't ready until 3:09 p.m. Only after an urgent request to the hotel management did the ladies finally come, so that our room was ready at 3:35 p.m. Meanwhile we waited on the terrace, where we were almost locked out by the maid! Check-out was also not possible in person. I then called the hotel management to let you know. Meanwhile, my partner met the housekeeper, who kindly asked whether everything was okay with the room or whether she needed to clean it? Apparently she wasn't informed about our departure! It's a shame that this birthday weekend was so marred by these circumstances. We would never have expected that because we had never found such conditions in any hotel in the world. The location and the view were fantastic, the bed was also very comfortable - if that's enough for you, you'll be well accommodated there. We will not come back under such an organization.
