As per the concept, the Little Prince is in every room and there are many skylights! If you are a fan of The Little Prince, this is a must-see. However, the building itself is an old European house.

Hotel de Klein Prinz is a charming hotel that features the story character Little Prince with numerous paintings and figures adorning the premises. The rooms are nice and the bathrooms are clean, although the shower cubicle can be a bit small and tucked away in a corner. One downside is that there is no complimentary water provided. The breakfast is enjoyable, with fresh orange juice and delicious smoked salmon. The hotel's location is convenient, within walking distance to spas and the shopping district. Additionally, having a supermarket and a bus stop to the train station just opposite the hotel is a major advantage for guests.

Ich habe während dem SWR3 New Pop Festival 2024 für zwei Nächte in der Prinzessin Suite gewohnt und meinen ganzen Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen. Das Hotel sowie die Suite sind liebevoll altmodisch eingerichtet ohne dass man auf moderne Features wie z.B. Klimaanlage oder Duschkabine verzichten muss. Dazu kommt ein hervorragendes Restaurant im Hause. Das Personal ist in allen Bereichen überdurchschnittlich freundlich und kompetent. Die Lage ist für Reisende mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ideal wegen der Nähe zur zentralen Busstation Augustaplatz. Zur City und zum Festivalgelände sind es nur 100 Meter.

We feel so lucky to have stayed at Der Kleine Prinz. We intended to only stay for 1 night, but our journey to the next stop in our vacation was halted when we were robbed at the Friedrichsbad bath. Someone broke into our locked locker and stole our bag which, among other important items, contained our rental car keys (which meant our passport and luggage were locked in the car). Being in a foreign country and not knowing the language, we returned to Der Kleine Prinz where every member of the staff was extremely helpful. While navigating unexpectedly difficult communication with the rental car company, a kind gentleman overheard our conversation and immediately offered to help. After hours of unanswered phone calls and wrong numbers, this man, who spoke both our language and the native language, is the only reason we were able to connect with the right people to get new rental car keys sent to us (apparently Hertz doesn’t keep a second set of keys at the rental location—they have to be mailed through a third party). Initially unbeknownst to us, this gentleman ended up being the owner of Der Kleine Prinz, Mr. Andreas Rademacher. Andreas was so selfless, and his attitude toward making sure hotel guests have the best experience clearly carried over into his staff. For example, our professional waiter, Jason, was so thoughtful to offer me a blanket while sitting outside for dinner in the chilly evening (all of my extra clothes were locked in the car). Though I don’t know all of their names, every staff member shared this unmatched customer service. We are so thankful.

Onlangs hadden we bij onze doorreis naar Italië, 1 overnachting in hotel der kleine Prinz. Dit is een ‘zuster’ hotel van hotel Belle Epoque iets verderop. In dat laatste hotel waren we een aantal jaren geleden. We hebben toen 1x gegeten bij der kleine Prinz. Dat was heerlijk vonden wij, alleen waren we destijds de praktisch de enigen die daar dineerden. Er zat nog 1 stel meer. Deze keer zat het helemaal vol en was het eten wederom erg goed!! Ook de kamer is prima! We kregen een upgrade met airco. De airco was heerlijk omdat het erg warm was die dag. Bed was naar mijn smaak iets te hard, maar dat is persoonlijk. Onze elektrische auto kon opgeladen worden bij hotel Belle Epoque. Dat kostte wel €30,-! Bij alle andere hotels op onze roadtrip kostte dat niets of aanzienlijk minder. Beide hotels zijn prima hotels! Het leuke van de kleine Prinz is dat het ‘prins’ thema overal is doorgevoerd! Zelfs op het servies!

This is a quaint looking hotel with some lovely rooms. Each is individually decorated. It is situated less than 10 minutes from bars and restaurants and about 15 mins walk to the spas. Breakfast is included in the price. It is, however, not a great selection... But, at the same time, you're not going to go hungry! Also included in the price is some tea and cake in the afternoon. Parking is in the sister hotel, la belle epoque a couple of minutes away. Be warned, it's €24 per day!
