The motel is built with thin wall, we heard ppl talking all night outside our room until 3 in the mid-night……horrible!

We spent 3 nights in the main lodge and it met our needs perfectly. The room furnishings were simple and it was spacious and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful, providing directions, restaurant recommendations and suggesting things to do. The location was perfect - right on the main street, yet it was quiet. We parked in the hotel lot and walked everywhere. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch to relax between activities.

This is a cute motel. Very clean. It felt like we time travelled to the 1980's when the world was a safe and kind place. Grandma loved the rooms. It was cozy. It was Canada Day and the restaurant was closed but they recommended the Bell Buoy restaurant. We loved the lobsters on the menu!! Best place to go if you LOVE lobster!! Can't wait to go back. We only stayed 1 night, I would stay at least 2 nights next time. Highly recommend. There's coffee shops near by, walking distance. Perfect place to leave the world and forget all your troubles.

We stayed at this historic house for 4 nights in June. The historic house itself has a number of rooms, with a more standard motel setup behind it. It’s located in the heart of Beddeck, and walkable to several places to eat. We stayed there just before their own restaurant opened for the season. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, giving advice on places to eat and visit. Our room in the house was quite small, but clean, comfortable and quiet. The toilet and shower were together behind a sliding barn-type door, with the sink outside - affording no real privacy. The Alexander Graham Bell National Monument is down the street, but not really walkable from the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Cabot Trail and the Highlands It is a quaint hotel. Charming even though it s a bit tired. Winky uneven floors. Our room has a private balcony and very handy for opening the screen door for some fresh air. Room is clean and fairly decent.

Wonderful Inn! Wow. What a wonderful Inn with a terrific host, Sean (Shawn?) who gave us a great restaurant to go to (The shed) and insight into driving the Cabot Trail. Super clean and charming. A great stay.

So after a very long drive from Halifax in the snow we arrived to be told we were staying in a motel room which was cold and very slippy on the deck. Given a list of places to get food on a Sunday only one open ! We should have been informed the motel room was ok, but the water lukewarm at best WIFI was good, parking included. I honestly think the establishment should call and let you know !
