The Ayurveda Resort MANDIRA is a place for relaxation located in the center of Bad Waltersdorf.
A top-class hotel service is combined with the millennia-old wisdom from India with the regenerative power of thermal water and the harmonizing effect of yoga to stimulate vitality and strengthen energy with culinary delicacies - both with Styrian-fresh cuisine and Ayurvedic nutrition.
There are two thermal water indoor pools, the year-round heated outdoor pool or in the spacious sauna area with a Styrian relaxation room
A wide range of Ayurvedic treatments and massages is provided as well as a daily activity and relaxation program with yoga and meditation units and a well-equipped fitness center.
All rooms are nonsmoking and feature cable TV and a bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer. They offer views of the beautiful green landscape, the thermal baths or the vineyards. Some rooms also have air conditioning.
Several catering options are provided: with breakfast or full board. Vegetarian and vegan meals, as well as fish dishes, are included in the price. Exclusive meat specialties can be added for breakfast, lunch, and dinner through the à la carte menu at an additional cost. Selected drinks such as morning coffee in the restaurant or tea at the buffet are included.
On the day of arrival, all services are included from 15:00, on the day of departure until 11:00.
Early check-in or late check-out can be booked on site upon request.

What a splendific sanctuary! I took my mom for an Ayurvedic stay to celebrate her bday, as well as the Mother’s Day. Our experience was unparalleled and magnified by an amazing team who created a perfect ambiance to elevate the concept so beautifully executed by the Mandira Founder and CEO, Kristina. Überaus nettes Team, wunderbare ayurvedische Küche und supertolle Teeauswahl, traumhafte Masseure und sehr stimmiger Ayurvedabereich, toller Wellnessbereich, die Standardzimmer sind ok, Matratzen sehr gut… also uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Positiv Das Zimmer war simple aber bequem mit toller kleinen Terasse. Der Pool klein aber angenehm innen und draussen und nie ueberfuellt. Ein paar Mitarbeiter professionel und nett (Anja, Frau Ark). Saunawelt angenehm mit genuegend Duschen. Das Essen - manchmal durchschnittlich, manchmal wirklich ausserordenrlich. Negativ Das meiste Personal weit weg von der warmen und ehrlich gastfreunfschaftlichen Art die man in einem Ayurveda (?) Resort erwarten sollte. Die Kur die ich gebucht habe sollte laut den Angaben auf der Website personalisierte Ernaehrung und Massagen - Behandlungen nach meinem Dosha Typ anbieten- nichts da - das Essen war fuer alle Gaeste dasselbe ( Detox war dann einfach die Suppe die die anderen Gaeste im Abendessen hatten.. ) - genauso die Behandlungen - die waren typisiert im Paket - wenn ich von etwas mehr wollte und der ( Hotelmitarbeiter) Arzt es mir empfohlen hatte (?) und von etwas weniger - ich konnte nichts in "meinem" Programm austauschen , nur dazubuchen und bezahlen. Das Highligjt der "Detox Kur" ist ein banales Einnehmen des Rizinus Oel was natuelrich abfuehrend wirkt - kann man aber zu Hause fuer paar Euro jederzeit machen. Massagen - milde gessgt schlecht, die armen Mitarbeiter hetzen von einer zu anderen Masaage ohne Pause und uebertragen an uns die Energie des Abarbeitens.. jede der Massagen mit vielen spannenden Namen gleicht einander und bewirkt nichts ausser viel Oel am Koerper. Ayurvedische Massagen die ich im Osten hatte sind eine ganz andere Welt und Elebniss fuer alle Sinne - Mandira war das reine Gegenteil. Zuaammengefasst - ein Hotel mit guter Saunwelt und einem Pool - mehr ist es nicht. Das Ayurveda nutzt man hier als Geldmaschine - versteht aber nichts davon.

Ein wunderschöner Ort, um wieder zu sich zu finden. Das sehr geschmackvolle Hotel bietet alles was das Herz begehrt. Das kompetente Personal ist überaus freundlich. Trotz Entschlackungskur war ich nie hungrig. N Bereits nach 1 Woche fühle ich mich wie neu geboren.

Familiengeführtes Hotel mit der Möglichkeit Ayurvedakuren oder auch nur Ayurvedaanwendungen zu machen. Helles, gemütlich eingerichtet; gepflegt Innen wie Außen. 2 Pools, Fitnessraum, Bibliothek alles vorhanden. Die gebuchte Panchakarma-Kur wurde professionell erklärt und durchgeführt, man hatte immer eine/n Ansprechpartner/in. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, Sofa, kleinem Balkon mit Sicht ins "Tal", bequemes Bett. Zimmer-Safe war groß genug für den Laptop (den man zur Erholung am besten wegschliessen). Das Ayurveda-Essen war hervorragend, immer auch eine Augenweide (Kompliment an das Küchenteam), der Service war ebenso ausgezeichnet. Verschiedene Tee´s kann man sich immer holen bzw. aussuchen (mit heißem Wasser zubereiten) am Barbereich. Danke an alle Mitarbeiter/innen. Gerne wieder.

Mandira hat alle unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. So ein fantastisches Team die sehr individuell auf alle unserer Bedürfnisse eingegangen sind und immer für uns da waren. Wunderschöne Anlage vom Restaurant zur Wellness und Spa Bereich. Einfach perfekt! Wir haben schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht und werden das Resort an unseren Freunden wärmstens empfehlen!

Meine kleine Auszeit war absolut perfekt! Alle waren sehr freundlich und herzlich und haben das auch ausgestrahlt. Das Essen war mit Liebe zum Detail garniert und wurde immer frisch zubereitet (!). Das Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet war unglaublich und am Abend das Käsebuffet ein Traum! Ich wüsste nicht, was gefehlt hätte. Das gesamt Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es gibt viele kräftige Farben und Muster und es ist überall sauber. Es wäre mir keine einzige Kleinigkeit aufgefallen, die nicht gepasst hätte. Absolut TOP! Und zum Schluss noch etwas ganz Cooles: das Elektroauto kann man für 10€ voll laden. Man zahlt 10€, egal wieviel man aufladen muss. Das ist wirklich besonders toll!

Das ganze Hotel ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum sein eingerichtet. Jedes Detail ist darauf ausgerichtet, dem Gast einen schöne Zeit zu machen und Gelegenheit zum einfach sein zu geben. Hab die panchakarma Kur gemacht und bin runderneuert weil die Therapie sensationell gut ist a von Therapeuten die im Land des Ayurveda aufgewachsen sind.
