Zur Lage: das Hotel liegt am Ende einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße direkt am Kurpark - daher absolut ruhig. Das gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege-Netz rund um Bad Steben beginnt quasi am Hotel. Diverse Restaurants, Geschäfte usw. sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotel "atmet" den Charme eines Kurhotels - ein bisschen "angestaubt", etwas in die Jahre gekommen - aber absolut kultig. Highlight ist ganz klar das Personal, welches durch die Bank aufmerksam und freundlich war. Zur Ausstattung: Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend - auch mehrere Ladestationen. Alles ist sehr sauber (auch wenn Teppichboden nicht jedermanns Sache ist). Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und gut (Eierspeisen kann man beim Personal bestellen). Kleiner Minuspunkt: der Saunabereich ist unterdimensioniert. Fazit: eine klare Empfehlung, wenn man mit den kleinen Schwächen leben kann.

Ich hatte die "Kleine Auszeit" gebucht. Grund des Besuchs war ein paar Tage ausspannen und gleichzeitig einen Freund überraschen, der hier zur Reha war. Überraschung gelungen, Auszeit genossen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Essen war sehr gut. Gut finde ich, dass man selbst entscheiden kann, ob das Zimmer gereinigt werden soll. Bei nur einer Übernachtung ist dies m.E. nicht erforderlich. Auch die Gegend ist sehr schön und lädt zu Wanderungen ein. Leider hatte ich keine Zeit, um die Sauna zu nutzen. Wer mal einen Kurzurlaub mit "Verwöhnprogramm" sucht, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Wir haben kurzfristig per Telefon gebucht, schönes ruhiges Zimmer nah beim Wellness-Bereich erhalten, Anwendungen, Tischreservierung alles erledigt. Positiv aufgefallen ist die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals - von Stress in der Gastronomie spürt man hier absolut nichts! Als das Auto nicht ansprang kam sofort der Haustechniker und half. Toll! Ebenfalls absolut positiv der Umgang mit den Ressourcen Mensch und Material. Geputzt wird nur auf Verlangen, Handtuchtausch hat jeder Hotelgast selbst in der Hand, statt zig laufender Mini-Bars gibt es einen zentralen Kühlschrank neben der Rezeption - Prinzip Vertrauen - ich trag selbst ein, was ich raus nehme. Der Saunabereich mit 3 Saunen und 2 Ruheräumen war in der Woche entspannt und ausreichend, am Wochenende etwas voll aber es gibt ja die "Frankentherme" 10 Minuten entfernt. Das Essen war sehr gut bei übersichtlicher Karte. Einmal hatten wir Kritik - prompt gabs die Getränke gratis! Sowas nenn ich Service! Fazit: jederzeit wieder - hat das Zeug zum Stammhotel!

Zuvorkommendes Personal, schmackhaftes sowie vielseitiges Essen und ein schönes, ruhiges Zimmer. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und gut erholt. Gerne kommen wir hier wieder.
