Pet friendly Hotels Bad Mergentheim

This is a nicely located bath hotel. It is a bit old fashioned and focussed on relaxation. Lift is slow, bar closes at 11 pm sharp (even when it is full) and wifi is very lousy, so not a hotel for business people. Breakfast is okay with a very decent choice. Dinner (buffet) was not so good. Room is sufficiently large with a bit of a small shower. It has a nice balconyz, but no control on the room temperature and can be quite warm during the night. Walls are thin as I could hear the alarm or toilet of my neighbours. Hotel service is good as is cleaning and all the people present. A nice hotel for a spa and tourist experience. Not so much for business people.

The restaurant offers good food, but at a pricely higher level. Price / performance just fits just like that. The hotel is ok, the normal rooms are relatively small, but sufficient. Our room was a little older and had one of the hotel's typical plastic washing basin, which was already yellowish. Also the water has not passed reasonably. There is a need to renovate some. The shower was clean, but the silicone seals should also be renewed once. We had also a small balcony. Unfortunately the floor of the balcony was severely polluted with dust-drop. But the housemaster did it immediately after we had reported it. There is only a disabled park pact, which appears with something too little. The parking place behind the hotel is relatively small and was always almost completely located during our visit, so you had to park on the street or a public parking place.

De receptionist, een oudere, wat verwarde heer, sprak ons aan en vroeg ons meteen om de toeristenbelasting contant te betalen, hij had geen wisselgeld, betalen met pinpas was niet mogelijk! Hoe dan ook, we kregen de sleutel van onze kamer op de vijfde verdieping in het bijgebouw. Het hotel was erg verlaten, veel kamers ongebruikt. Toen we op de vijfde verdieping aankwamen, stonden de deuren van de hotelkamers open en was het erg warm. Het gaf ons de indruk van een oud, verlaten ziekenhuis. We hoorden een kraan lopen, gingen kijken, de kraan van een douche stond open, en het warme water stroomde volop het doucheputje in. Het tapijt was schandalig. Mijn vrouw voelde zich angstig en onzeker, waar ik het volledig mee eens was. We hebben toen besloten om het hotel te verlaten daar dit voor ons een brug te ver was! De receptionist wilde dat we een andere kamer namen, maar we weigerden. De beschrijving van het hotel komt helemaal niet overeen met de werkelijkheid, zwembad en sauna gesloten en het restaurant vanaf eind juli 's-avonds. We hebben dit schrijven ook naar het hotel gestuurd maar ontkennen het meeste! We hebben veel over de hele wereld gereisd, maar dit hebben we nog nooit meegemaakt, Duitsland onwaardig!
