Friendly reception, clean room, elevator (so no lugging suitcases up the stairs), swimming pool, a table for dinner was quickly made available. The service was very nice. The food was average (sauce for the specials from a packet?). Unfortunately, directly opposite on the other side of the street are the tables and benches of another restaurant that serves its guests until well after midnight. It was accordingly loud until the guests finally went home... Then another ten minutes of clattering of the dishes, then quiet. The hotel is absolutely recommended as a stopover on the onward journey to the south!

Duitse gastvrijheid
Typisch Duits hotel weg van de snelweg. Gedateerd decor maar brandschoon en comfortabel. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij personeel, prima ontbijt en bij het diner zelfs een paar vegetarische/vegan opties (geen culinaire hoogstandjes maar prima als je nog snel even wat moet eten).
Wel een eindje rijden van de snelweg, in het donker ietwat lastig over onverlichte wegen.

Nettes Familienhotel direkt im Zentrum des kleinen Weinorts Markelsheim. Wir waren dieses Jahr schon das 5. Mal in diesem Hotel und es hat uns wie immer sehr gut gefallen. Das Mobiliar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut, die Küche im hauseigenen Restaurant excellent. Das Hotel verfügt über ein kleines Hallenbad.
Der Ort ist ideal gelegen als Ausgangspunkt für die Frankenfestspiele in Röttingen und das Festkonzert in Schloss Weikersheim.
