Fast ein Geheimtipp...
Ein traditionsreiches Haus in vierter Generation im Familienbesitz und von den Inhabern geführt - das spürt man bei jedem Detail. Die Gästezimmer im Erweiterungsbau sind geräumig und topmodern - hinter dem Gebäude ein Park, in dem man Rehe und Hirsche weiden sieht. Die vor dem Haus vorbeiführende Bundesstraße stört nicht und entschädigt mit einem Blick auf das Schloß. Gerne wieder.

Sollte ich Bad Iburg wieder besuchen ,würde ich wieder im Waldhotel Felsenkeller einkehren.Gleich bei meiner Ankunft das freundliche Gespräch an der Rezeption und beim Abschied waren sehr angenehm.Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral gelegen,ideal für Konzerte,Wandern,Radfahren.

Ik sliep hier 1 nacht (terwijl ik de Hermannshöhenweg liep) en dat beviel prima. Van buiten oogt het als een modern hotel maar binnen waan je je in de jaren 70 en dat heeft ook wel weer wat. De sfeer is gemoedelijk en ik heb de indruk dat veel truckers en chauffeurs hier dagelijks een hapje komen eten of soms overnachten. De hotelkamer is eenvoudig maar de badkamer (in mijn geval) indrukwekkend groot en hagelnieuw. Wel ligt het hotel direct aan de autoweg dus ik heb de ramen dichtgehouden om lawaai en uitlaatgassen buiten te houden. Het avondeten gaat hier op de ouderwetse toer, je krijgt een prima bord eten en dat geldt ook voor het ontbijt, waar een uitstekend buffet wordt geserveerd.
