The location is remote and you can't get there without a car. It's at least 3 kilometers away from the subway station or train station on foot. The hotel has three floors but no elevator: there is a forest around for a walk

Bad Homburg is a wealthy area, and many roads are blocked at night (according to the driver, this is to prevent disturbing local residents). The hotel is in the forest. The flight was delayed on the first day, and it was almost 12 o'clock in the evening when we arrived. Many roads were closed according to the navigation, so we finally took a midnight forest path. Auf Basis einer telefonischen Vereinbarung für eine Feier haben wir Einladungen geschrieben und frankiert. Zwei Tage später wurde uns per Email abgesagt - aus nicht nachvollziehbaren Gründen. Traurig, dass Zusagen nichts mehr gelten! So schade wir das finden, für uns ist das Hotel Hardtwald leider keine Option mehr.
