Prachtige locatie bovenaan de Burgbahn. Verblijf en restaurant, waar je ook heerlijk van een kopje koffie met gebak kan genieten. Vriendelijke medewerkers en een menukaart waaruit veel te kiezen valt. Vanaf het terras uitzicht over het achterland, als je een paar meter doorloopt wordt het uitzicht fenomenaal wijds.

Erstklassiges Ausflugsziel zum Wandern und anschließendem futtern in Bad Harzburg am Burgberg im Harz. Die Speisen sind preislich okay, dafür kriegt man für sein Geld wirklich ordentliche Portionen und köstlichen Geschmack.

Morgen sind wir hier auf einen Kaffee eingekehrt. Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt. Auffällig war, das nach 15 min Wartezeit kein Keller zu sehen war. Ein Gast sagte ; „ Es ist besser Sie bestellen drinnen“ Gesagt getan ist wollte meine Bestellung bei der jungen Frau platzieren, doch die Antwort war das Sie zum Tisch kommen würde… Nach ca. 25 Minuten hatten wir dann unsere Cappuccini. Da auf den Tisch kein Zucker stand hatte meine Frau dann erneut um Bedienung gebeten und bei der jungen Frau nach Zucker gefragt. Das Ergebnis war sehr ernüchternd, denn sie brachte ein Tütschen …. was ist da noch zu sagen…. Die Ernüchterung kam dann als es um zahlen ging, denn sie nach den Zahlwunsch entgegen aber verwies darauf, dass der Kollege dafür zuständig sein. Dieser kam dann auch recht bald. Der Gipfel dieser besonderen Erfahrung war dann der stolze Preis von 4,50€ je Cappuccino. Das kann auch die schöne, Hauseigene Tasse nicht rechtfertigen.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön auf einem Berg gelegen. Daher hat man eine tolle Aussicht zu allen Seiten. Es ist sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Auch das Restaurant ist super. Waren zweimal dort essen. Wir haben dort drei Nächte verbracht und es war sehr gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind total schön und laden zum Wohlfühlen ein. Einziger leider sehr großer Haken ist, dass man das Hotel nur zu Fuß (40 min bergauf) oder mit der Seilbahn erreicht. Diese fährt aber nur bis 17 Uhr. Man ist daher leider irgendwie sehr abhängig…vor allem da es früh dunkel wird will man ungern im dunkeln durch den Wald laufen. Trotzdem waren wir begeistert vom Hotel und würden wiederkommen!

Was soll ich sagen der Empfang war schon mal sehr nett und an unserem Tisch hatte der Service einen Kerzenleuchter platziert und ich wurde beglückwünscht. Unsere Service Dame Lisa Hollatz und Kolleginnen u d Kollegen haben sich wahnsinnig toll um uns gekümmerte…. Ich war begeistert und das war neben einem grandiosen Essen das wichtigste. Unsere Speisen: „ Blöde Ziege“, Vienenburger Heuschwein und Spare Ribs unschlagbar gut zubereitet… das Gemüse mit unschlagbarer frische und Proportional zum Fleisch sehr gut. I h komme wieder und freue mich schon auf das Serviceteam🥰
