We stayed at the Braunschweigerhof in Bad Harzburg for a few days over New Year 2024-25. We were made most welcome. The rooms were modern , very comfortable and immaculately clean. There was a very nice traditional ambience in the public areas and restaurant. The staff were all charming and helpful, and the food was delicious. I would particularly compliment the restaurant staff. In the heart of Bad Harzburg, we found this an excellent place from which to wander round the town, and also to explore the region. There is a lot to see and do in the Harz region so we hope to be back to explore further, and will certainly stay here.

Schönes, gepflegtes, mit vielen hübschen Kleinigkeiten eingerichtetes und familär geführtes Hotel; Personal immer sehr freundlich; im Hotel leckere, gehobene Küche zu entsprechendem Preis; alternativ in der Umgebung diverse kleine Geschäfte und weitere Restaurants+Cafes; in der Nähe Therme, Baumwipfelpfad, .... und Vielzahl von Wanderwegen; viele Ziele können auch per Bus erreicht werden (z.B. mit dem 875 auf schmalen Wegen durch den Wald ! zu Wasserfall; Rabenklippe, Luchsgehege -Fütterung am Mittwoch+Samstag nachmittags- u.a.m.); Schwimmbad ab 7.00 Uhr mit 12 / Saunen ab 16.00 Uhr mit 6 Liegemöglichkeiten ausreichend ausgestattet

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in diesem Hotel 5 Tage zu übernachten, und es war von Anfang bis Ende ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Hotel selbst ist sauber und sehr gut gelegen. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel, und die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir jedoch den außergewöhnlichen Service, den wir während unseres Aufenthalts erfahren durften. Ein besonderer Dank gilt für Herrn Bräunel, der durch sein Engagement unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht hat. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Nochmals ein riesiges Dankeschön an das gesamte Team .Sie haben unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht

More than a good hotel! We had a 3-day package "Romantik" half board and included a candlelight dinner. And a welcome cocktail (with 4 courses). Pleasant service, cozy bar, good massages, excellent service. We were in the main building. Perfect base for the Burgberg, Goslar and Werningerode (with the steam train to the Brocken, 1142 m high).

Very accommodating, even when booking. Friendly staff, room in the neighboring building "SUPER". We enjoyed the extensive breakfast, the selection and quality couldn't be beaten, and the staff here were also very friendly. If we go to the Harz again, the hotel will be number one.
