Ein sehr schönes großes Hotel mit einem angenehmen Ambiente, viel Platz - sehr freundlichen und kompetenten Angestellten- bei der Rezeption, Bar, Restaurant und Kosmetiksalon! Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen, das Abendessen bot eine gute Auswahl und war ausgezeichnet! Die Barkarte hatte eine große Auswahl an Cocktails, die Barkeeper verstanden ihr Handwerk! Leider müssen wir bemerken, dass der Wellnessbereich/Sauna/ für so viele Gäste zu klein ist und auch zuwenige Liegen bietet - natürlich könnte man in die Ruheräume ausweichen, dort sollte ja dann keine Unterhaltung stattfinden. Die Zimmer sind groß genug - aber zumindest in unserem Zimmer waren die Betten durchgelegen, knarrten - auch der sofort eingelegte Topper brachte da nichts

Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Jedoch stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, denn die Zimmer sind sauber, das Essen gut und der Service freundlich. Nicht zu vergessen ist der beheizte Thermalwasser-Aussenpool, in dem man seine Runden drehen und sich erholen kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were here in the early 1990s and have very fond memories of the hotel. The reception is friendly, the room is still nice (although the bathtub should have been ripped out long ago). The location of the room was perfect for us to get to the thermal baths and the lobby. We really liked the thermal baths: clean, always enough bath towels, enough space to retreat, just great. The breakfast buffet is perfect for us: really lots of choice, appetizing, good taste for us. So breakfast became the main meal for us. What particularly bothered me was the fact that the restaurant and bar only served third-rate drinks. There is no branded beer, branded soft drink, just some third-rate products like "Frizz-Cola" and types of beer that nobody knows, but San Pelegrino water. That's not acceptable in a 4-star hotel. The decision-making committee should seriously think about this, because ultimately you want to sell and the guest decides whether and what they want. Apart from the shortcomings mentioned, we had lovely days at the Maximilian.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Maximilian. You were warmly welcomed, the service staff in the restaurant and Cafe Max and the staff at the reception were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is very, very good and really offers everything you could want. That was great! The evening menus were also very good. We were able to relax excellently in the in-house thermal baths and there were more than enough loungers available at any time of the day. We were really satisfied and have already booked our next stay.

This review only applies to the Sunday brunch. The food was good, the service friendly. Only the restaurant manager was noticed for his inappropriate behavior, which was primarily due to his disrespectful comment to a colleague at the reception. In my opinion, this is not appropriate for a five star hotel. However, the price-performance offer is also not suitable. There is a lot on offer, but you can only eat so much and in that case it would be more advantageous to choose a good meal à la carte.
