Thankyou Mia and Stephan, great hosts that helped make it a really nice experience. Hotel Waldruh is in a lovely location. The rooms are very clean, spacious and I found the beds very comfortable. We had to leave quite early each morning and Mia was kind enough to prepare us a takeaway breakfast which was very decent of her. On the day we did eat breakfast at the hotel, I thought the choice and quality was good. I asked if I could change rooms as someone next to me was a bit noisy and this was no trouble at all. The second room I stayed in was also great. Overall, we stayed for 5 nights and were very happy with our choice. We would definitely recommend and would happily stay again if the opportunity arises.

Von der ersten Sekunde an haben wir uns im Familien geführten Hotel wohlgefühlt. Unser Hund wurde ❤ liche begrüßt. Nachdem wir den Zimmerschlüssel hatten ein kleiner Rundgang damit wir uns zurecht finden. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen! Den Wellnessbereich haben wir nur besichtigt aber der sieht top aus. Toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Berge oder auch zu den Schlössern. Jeder Zeit wieder!

Das Hotel liegt weit oben in Bad Kohlgrub. Die Zimmer sind ok, zumindest was wir hatten. Das war eine Ferienwohnung mit 2 Zimmern und ein Bad in einem Nebengebäude. Die Schlafzimmer allerdings sehr klein und keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, auch im Bad keine Ablage. Das Wohnzimmer dafür sehr groß, was wir allerdings bei der einen Nacht der Radtour nicht gebraucht haben. Das Essen war ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Frühstück war gut. Die Fahrräder standen in einem Schuppen, vorher musste man durch einen Raum in dem offene Müllcontainer standen, das war kein angenehmer Geruch. Doch was wir ebike Fahrer etwas befremdlich fanden war, dass wir pro Akku der geladen wurde 1 € zahlen mussten. Das haben wir auf der gesamten Tour vom Bodensee zum Königsee in keinem anderen Hotel erlebt.

Es war nicht das beste Wetter, aber das Hotel machte einen sehr guten Eindurck, Familienfreundlich würde ich mal sagen, Es gab eine Kaffeemaschine, welche Nutzbar war und auch eine kleinen Versorgungsladen, lief alles sehr familiär ab.
Kann man eigentlich nur empfehlen. Wellness war nur die Sauna offen, dies lag aber sicherlich an der Zeit..

Ich war spontan übers Wochenende im Waldruh in Bad Kohlgrub. Ich hatte ein sehr schönes grosses Zimmer. Mein Hund Gismo war auch willkommen. Sehr herzliche symphatische Gastgeber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ausgiebig, frische Brötchen,Gipfel, Aufschnitt Käse usw sehr lecker. Man konnte sich auch frische Eierspeisen bestellen. Auch das Abendessen ,(vom Chef gekocht) war super lecker. Gerne wieder

Room was clean, service great and personalized. Every morning at breakfast, the owner was asking if we needed diner, room services, room cleaned... The honor system for the alcoholic beverage was great, allowing lower cost (2.5euro/beer). Sauna was open every night on request (to save on energy) and available to rent as private spa anytime outside normal hours (17h-21h). The steam room was still closed for corona virus reason but should reopen eventually. Great Typical European breakfast (i.e: no beacon for the American) was served and included every morning.
