hace 1 minuto en Google Mi experiencia fue está, el lugar actualmente nada que ver con las fotos. Tiene una notable falta de mantenimiento el clima que nos tocó en la habitación tiraba agua y mojo ropa que tenía en una mochila debajo del clima, los dueños viven en frente y no me gustó que cuando llegamos de un paseo se llenará de carros de gente externa a los huéspedes sin importar el espacio para de los coches que de hecho le falta una limpieza al terreno para poder colocar bien los coches buen esa gente externa se la paso tomando todo el día con los dueños y encontrarnos con la piscina que de paso estaba sucia cuando nos hospedamos con juguetes y caja de pizza y Sabritas que se mantuvieron hasta el día siguiente, recalcó es sobresaliente la falta de mantenimiento en todo el " hotel" desde la entrada hasta el muellesito que hablando del muelle Se la paso un catamaran todo el tiempo que estuvimos estorbando la vista de la laguna por si querías bañarte o solo acostarte a ver el paisaje que por eso renta uno ese lugar por qué está frente al lago pero lástima que por rentar un espacio los huéspedes no puedan sentarse a mirar de frente por el catamarán que ponen ahí. Tienen un refrigerador público que tira agua y una cafetera sin café durante 3 días que estuvimos la limpieza de los cuartos bueno no hubo solo sacan los papeles del baño es una pena que el lugar esté tan descuidado y con falta de atención al huésped y sobre todo que metan gente externa a la villa así que si piensas vacacionar te sugiero veas otras opciones.

Karlav was the perfect home for our holiday! We had a rental car so had the freedom to drive into Bacalar or we could walk if we wanted to. The place is a four unit complex next to the host/family home. The property is water-front with lots of areas to sit/lay and relax by the lagoon, the pool, the yard, gazebo, our room balconies. We bought briquets to BBQ, we cooked lots and used their complimentary kayaks and SUPs every day. It was an awesome value for the price. It's not five star but the place is well kept (not impeccable, for the discerning traveller) but it was perfect for our expectations of a clean place to rest our heads. The owners are lovely and super helpful. We would love to go back sometime. The lagoon is a very special place, and something to be protected. NO sunscreen is allowed to be worn in the fresh water. There are stromatolites right in the water front of our resort - it's a truly incredible place. Also enjoyed the resident dogs, Bruno and Camilla who made you feel very protected and loved.

Amazing views!
Very quiet place to stay with amazing views! Everything in the room is outdated but it was comfortable. The door had a large gap in in and a little frog came into our room. Other than the frog and the smelly drains, it was a decent place to stay.
