This is a lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff, good rooms and a beautiful design set in the trees. Breakfast was excellent, free bikes and a good pool. A really comfortable oasis in Bacalar and a short walk to the nicest public approach to the lagoon.

This hotel is almost there
This hotel really needs to start offering laundry service, heat the pools, and have a dinner and room service option for guests.
That would make the experience much better.
Neighborhood is loud so maybe some white noise options in the room would make the experience more pleasant as well

Casa Hormiga is a complete gem in an amazing place. The hotel is a sanctuary built inside a sliver of jungle with the most incredible staff - always ready to help! The food and cocktails are amazing as well. The general vibes are so chill it’s impossible not to relax! The spa is super cool - we didn’t have time to do one of the signature rituals but did have an amazing sound healing treatment outdoors on. Ew years day which was very special. Bacalar is a very special destination and we can’t think of a better place to stay!

Casa Hormiga is an amazing experience. The hotel design is sophisticated and comfortable. Jenn helped us with all of our needs and coordinated our transportation and a truly memorable NYE experience. We are so grateful and highly recommend this hotel!! Easy walk to lagoon and plenty of restaurants and downtown. Breakfast, Yoga, the library, bikes were all nice perks.

Servicio y atención excepcional Increíble atención del personal, uno se siente realmente en casa Por mucho vale la pena este lugar para hospedarse en Bacalar, aunque no está a la orilla de la laguna ellos te facilitan todo para que tu estancia sea lo más placentera amena y sencilla, además que Casa Hormiga tiene unas instalaciones espectaculares. Comida rica, familiar, tranquilo y ameno Un lugar acogedor con instalaciones increíbles cerca de todo Mil gracias por esta experiencia.
