It is still okay. In the city center, there are two large supermarkets next to it, countless restaurants, post offices, and shops, which are very convenient. Breakfast is not as diverse as the star hotels, but it is acceptable. There is free wifi and drinks in the lobby. The staff is very welcoming. Towels can be borrowed when going to the sea. You can walk from the surrounding attractions, go swimming in the park for about 40 minutes, the scenery is good, not too tired. In short, it can be considered.

Looking for a resort for your wife and family to hang out in the day while you are out diving then this is not the place. Go to Cove. Looking for a resort that has a poolside bar and big western bar /restaurant /lawn /buffet then go to Cove. HOWEVER, if you want a special secret place that is 1/3 the price of Cove and a great place to sleep while you use your hotel arranged $50 /day car rental then stay here! The hotel is local and smaller so it is a great place to sleep at night with good size breakfast and plenty of free breakfast coffee. It is similar to Cruise Control Diving Center, which Leo, Shell Hotel Manager, helped me find and actually drove me to. I wish I could have given him a big tip! CrCont Diving is Japanese tailored, English speaking, Japanese traveler and Western traveler place that is larger than Sams and Fish&Fins, yet not as well know outside the Japanese tourists. It is less than half the price as the others and all the dive places use the same 500 hp boats and go to German Channel, the Big Hole and Blue Corner etc. (The three biggest sites). How did I find out about it? Leo from Shell Hotel personally took me there! Getting back to Shell, it was great. I lived the clean Balinese interior. There was no mold, no bugs on the floor and modern toilet, shower and sink that are even better than my upscale home in the USA. I have not written a review of a destination hotel before. I did this because I owed travelers this inside only special gem of a place that charges so much less and isn’t on the Google searches. I wish they would put this on Google Maps or the Apple Maps that comes with the iPhone. That way more people would know about it. Yes, they rented me a car for $50 per day including insurance. They took me to Cruise Control Diving. I hadn’t heard of them before either. I did put some pictures of Shell on this review. Again, Shell is not the place you will want to hang out at all day. It is a more local hotel that is a great place to lay your head at night. It is priced lower because it is not a resort. If you want to go to Palau and need a super clean and helpful staff, oh yes, did I say 1/3 the price of a resort :) , then this is the place to stay where you won’t feel ripped off. It is like a B&B but your own and not in someone’s house. In it’s category I highly recommend it 10/10. The staff will give you all the inside knowledge of Palau and take you to locals priced places. The bed is super comfortable. Really like. And clean. Really good. It's just that the breakfast options are a bit small. The most important thing is the bed. I'm so comfortable. I want to ask the boss where I bought it. I really want to buy one.

The hotel is good, because of the flight, it arrived in the morning, so I didn’t arrange the event on the first day. I decided to stay at this hotel. I can sleep and play for a total of six days. It feels very good, although it is a bit far from the city, but There is a free pick-up and pick-up time in advance with the front desk. There is also a free pick-up and drop-off service. The pick-up is for Ctrip to help you. After you arrive, you can transfer the machine to the airport. The pick-up and drop-off machine will cost 10 dollars a person. A family of four, saves 40 dollars, can go to the sea every day to take a bath towel at the front desk, breakfast is not many varieties but can be full, in this country with high prices, it is good, the hotel has lunch and dinner, the taste is very good! My family is two big and two small, the child is eight years old, the twin bed room is set, and the two children add 10 dollars for one night, including breakfast and practical bath towels. The hotel has parking lot for free parking.

The room was was fresh and clean. The most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time with 4 very nice pillows. Great air conditioning, almost too cold for my taste. Bottles of water were replenished daily in the fridge. The balcony was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean, and I had spectacular sunsets nightly. Definitely make a trip across the street to the Best Coffee and Donut House. I wasn't expecting to have such a fresh and a delicious treat. It's a hidden gem, with a YouTube video, too. The only thing that will make me not want to return to this hotel is my experience during checkout. I had to wait while the room was inspected by the manager. After being approved I stated I did not steal any towels, pillows, or lamps. Not even the complimentary soap or shampoo bottles. I was so extremely offended that I offered to open my suitcase for inspection. I had a bottle of water with me to take to the airport, but I purposely set it on the counter and said that I certainly didn't want to be accused of stealing.

They deserve 10+ stars! FANTASTIC, modern, clean Bed & Breakfast apartment style “Hotel” one block down quiet residential street from downtown Koror. Hotel manager Mr Oya, breakfast chef & housekeeper Daisy (and their delightful and helpful spouses), all go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable and safe. Garden Palace Palau is perfect for business travelers and scuba divers who want a modern, clean, comfortably air conditioned place to stay, along with the convenience of walking to town without having to rent a car. Each apartment styled room has a kitchenette. There are two full grocery stores only 1-2 blocks away and a wide selection of restaurants for grab ‘take-out’ food after a long day in business meetings or on the boat. In the mornings, just walk up to their roof-top dining area for a customize meal styled to your preferences (traditional American or Japanese breakfast). Garden Palace will provide transfers from/to Airport, even in the middle of the night! And, if you want to rent a car for the day, there are car rental agencies within easy walking distance. It is great center location and clean.

This is a new hotel and a perfect chice for enjoying Palau. The place is isolated, no others hotels are in this side of the island at the moment. It’s totally new a modern but surrounded by nature. The hotel offers rooms for any budget and both views are astounding. Families are welcome the pool is huge, there is a playroom for kids, bicycles and an observation point at the rooftop. The staff is really nice. They help as much as the can like shuttles, organising private tours or dropping you at the beach with the cart. They try to make you a confortable stay full of memories. We really enjoy the food of chef Simon. Well done and many different options and tastes from many parts of the world. The breakfast is very complete and fresh flavours. There Spa offers Thailand massages, don’t miss it, because they are amazing, strong hand and de-stressing treatment. The island is the paradise of a snorkelling, scuba diving, discovering nature and enjoying a quiet and peaceful holidays. 100% recommended!
