Spa Hotels in Azumino

About 3-4 minutes walk from Toyoshina Station on the Oito Line. It's located behind the station, and the narrow roads are complicated, so it's hard to find if you're driving for the first time. However, once you get the hang of it, it's not that complicated since you're on the national highway right after you cross the railroad crossing. Well, it's a normal route in, but this one also has rooms on the first floor. The first floor is crowded with people and can be uncomfortable, so if possible, it might be better to choose a room on the second floor or higher. There seem to be many small shops around the station, such as restaurants. Suburban stores and shopping centers line the road that runs from the station line to Azumino IC, so if you're driving, I think it's better to go there. Alternatively, the in-house tavern is open in the evenings, so you can easily use that as well. Also, there is a plan for staying without meals, but the price was the same as the one that included breakfast. What's more, even though you're staying without meals, they give you a breakfast coupon when you check in. I said, ``I don't need it because I'll be leaving early,'' but I guess it's probably the same either way from the other side. After returning from the mountain, I stayed one more night at Toppingishi, and at that time my single reservation had been upgraded to a double room. Since it was a Friday, the number of business travelers would have decreased, and most of the climbers would have already entered the mountain, so there would have been plenty of room.

We came to this hotel after a day of enjoyable sightseeing and hiking at the Snow Wall along the Tateyama Kurobe Alpen Route. The hotel invited us early to the sumptuous and marvellous dinner prepared for us. I like the minced tuna and raw salmon slices, the miso soup, dumpling and vegetable tempura. The wasabi ice cream was an energiser. I thought I would have a sound sleep at night as I was physically exhausted from the day walking but I found my body is not acclimatised to the cold temperature at this mountainous resort. I raised the aircon temperature to the maximum 29 degree and still felt cold. I should have turned on the heater but did not know how to do so. Thus, the bitter coldness woke me up on few occasions disrupting the sleep ryhmth. The next morning, I decided to go for an early morning walk at the Azumino mountain forest behind the hotel. The wind was cold and my hand was numbed as I braved my way up the slope with only a short and t shirt. Back at the hotel, I was greeted with a sumptuous breakfast of yogurt, coffee, soba noodles, nattos, croissants, salad, fresh milk and many other good food. I went for a refreshing onsen bath at basement 2 before check- out. There was no one using the onsen and I have the whole onsen to my self. What I like about this hotel is that it is located right in the mountain forest and the air is filled with so much negative ions from the numerous tall trees. The Japanese named it Shirin yoku. There are beverages at the 'oasis' but were meant for hotel members not the hotel guests. Why the difference? We felt not so welcome. The reception staff were courteous and helpful but it would be ideal if they can learn to speak English. Language barrier inhibits effective communication. We were sent to the West Wing instead of our rooms at the East Wing. We were surprised that both beer and wines were complimentary during dinner. If there is a chance, I would want to stay at this hotel but will remember to turn on the heater at night.

it was snowing, so the cottage was in place. it was hard to understand, but in the cottage It was the best stay! I was able to do it very slowly. It was very cold and snowy, but the snowy scenery was very cold. It was nice and clean.

I chose this hotel because it had high reviews, and it was far better than I expected. I would go back to Azumino just to stay here. The food was really delicious, and the service was great for the price. The location is excellent, and it's easy to find because it's easy to spot. It was a wonderful place to stay with the sounds of birds.

There was a banquet at the facility and stayed at the dog cottage with a dog (toy poodle). The cooking set was perfect and it was the best to do even a slow BBQ. ”Don't feed wild monkeys”, ”Attention to monkeys and bears”, etc., are wild environments. I also witnessed giant foxes and foxes. It is a little .... that bed making is self. I was also worried that it was too close to the next building. There was a free ticket for the public bath in this building, but it was too early to end at 21:30, and it was 10:00 ～ (check out at 10 o'clock) in the morning, and I want you to do something more.

I changed the breakfast time from 7:30 to 7:00. Thank you. ２． I wanted to put salt on the table in the dining room. I didn't have two cups of tea bowls, and I wanted to increase a little more. ３． I stayed in a twin room on the 2 floor, but the step with the bathroom was large I wanted to write a note. ４． The morning bath was from 6 o'clock, but it was not 6 o'clock, and the door in the hallway on the way to the bath was not opened. Can't you open it before 6 o'clock? Waiting until it opens is lonely. On the other hand, the entrance door of the dining room was open before 7 o'clock.
