Excellent!
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were looked after very well by Phillipe, Natasha and the staff. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and the shower was very good. However, for us the highest marks should go to to the food. The breakfast had an excellent European choice. The dinners were superb. The menu was changed everyday and there was a limited but good choice of dishes. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The fish and desserts were particularly good. It was a very good price for the quality. We intended to eat there just twice but only ate out at a small restaurant in the village was once.
Philippe was very helpful in giving us suggestions for visits. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit France.

De passage sur Azay-le- Rideau, et invités le soir sur Saché à l'Auberge du XIIeme siècle, j'ai avec mes deux compères réservé 3 chambres dans cet "Hôtel des Châteaux" très bien situé à un carrefour de plusieurs routes, relativement proche du centre ville, et comme son nom l'indique les Châteaux de la Loire ne sont pas loin, celui d'Azay, tout près, et ceux de Villandry et de Langeais, et un peu plus loin celui de Chinon, en bref, une belle situation géographique. Un grand parking devant l'hôtel fermé la nuit, de bonnes chambres, très fonctionnelles, un accueil du patron et des deux femmes à l'accueil très sympas et disponibles, un buffet-déjeuner du matin excellent, avec tout ce qu'il faut. Une bonne adresse sur Azay-le-Rideau, de plus le patron de bon conseil, j'ai eu un incident avec mon véhicule, flanc de pneu déchiré et crevé, il m'a indiqué et envoyé à un garage Renault à 200 m de l'hôtel, qui m'ont pris, rapidement, entre deux rdv et changé le pneu endommagé, merci à eux. Ce sera ma halte quand je serais sur le secteur, bonne adresse et les patrons au top, des bons produits régionaux vendus également à l'accueil qui travaille avec les producteurs locaux, pour moi les excellentes poires tapées de Rivarennes. Une addition globale de 279,00 euros pour 3 chambres, 3 petits-déjeuners et 3 taxes de séjour, correct pour la prestation proposée. Me restera, à l'occasion d'un prochain séjour, à diner dans leur restaurant que je n'ai pas encore testé. En bref, une bonne adresse hôtelière sur Azay-le-Rideau.

Very good choice if you want a good restaurant
Welcomed by Natalia and her parrot when we arrived. Lovely old hotel with easy parking right outside, and a stones throw from the town itself.
Our room was well presented, quiet and very comfortable with a good sized ensuite. We booked a table at the restaurant for that evening and glad we did as it was pretty full. Loved our 2 night stay and would definitely recommend it.

Bon accueil, serviable, nous avons passé un bon séjour.
Nous avons juste précisé à l'hôtelier que nous avions passé une mauvaise nuit à cause des oreillers beaucoup trop mous. "c'est la première fois que l'on nous fait la remarque, c'est surtout qu'ils ne vous conviennent pas".
Petit déjeuner buffet qualitatif.
